Having fun playing with the new goodies
Hi everyone.. Vicki here. I have been having so much fun playing with new Tattered Angels products since I got home from CHA. Wow… So many new fun things, I hardly knew where to begin. I’m loving it all!
I played a bit with some of the new Glimmer Glam on this layout using Websters Pages product also. Lots of masking , inking , spraying, stitching… and incoorporatiGlimmer Glam on the papers, lace and flower. ahhh… love that stuff!

The flower below started as a simple $ store flower. I prettied it up with Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist , then gave it an aged look by using just a light mist of “Sand” Glimmer Mist. After that was dry, I popped the plastic center outof the flower, and added a decorative brad. To finish it off, I brushed the edges lightly with Bronze Glimmer Glam.
I also brushed it on the lace and around the edges of the layout.

Painting with Glimmer Mist
I adore these new tags so much .. again .. it was hard to chose which to play with first. lol It was just screaming to be painted with Glimmer Mist.. SO….. I grabbed some small brushed and got started. Super easy and really forgiving. You dont have to be a artist or a painter to pull this one off.

So fun!

(Spicing up your patterned papers)
I dont know about you..but I have alot of papers that I love the pattern on ..but I’m not so crazy about the color. I’m using alot of that paper up these days..by changing the color with Glimmer Mist, and costomizing it to fit my needs.
Here’s just one example. I worked on my paper using “Tuttie Fruiti” Glimmer Mist, to get the look I wanted to achieve first.. once it was dry I adhered it to this wood heart shape.

I misted my flowers using the same color… to match. I stamped my little banner and words from the Timeless Romance Clear Stamps, and cut it out to add to the flowers. From there some ribbon , hot glue and a little crystal to attach to the bottom.

I’m off to go play some more..but keep watching here on the blog for inspiration from our talented Team!
