Growing Some Glimmer
For the first time we planted a garden this year. We just kept it simple. Some tomatoes, zucchini, onions and some corn. I am relishing in finding things that remind me of my garden. When I saw Crafty Secrets Garden Creative Scraps and Webster’s Pages Sweet as Cherry Pie, they reminded me of my time in the garden.
I transformed this tin bucket with a little help from Tattered Angels, Crafty Secrets and Webster’s Pages. I spritzed the blue gingham Pattern Paper all over with Patina Glimmer Mist to give a beautiful sheen.
I then used the Regal Classic Accents Stamp to stamp the swirl image and then heat emboss. Distress the embossing more as I scratched some of it off to give a worn look to it. I then spritzed the postcard from the Travel Bingo Boards and Calling Cards with Olive Vine and used the Garden Blossom Stencil and spritzed it with Coffee Shop. For each of the precious Crafty Secrets images I brayered the Iridescent Gold over them and then added more glitter to highlight the images. For the Glimmer Chip I layered Sunshine, Coffee Shop and topped it off with Sunshine Glimmer Mist again.

For my Grow Journal, I spritzed Webster’s Pages Pattern Paper with Sunshine and then used the Garden Blossom Stencils to mask and stamp with Olive Vine. I then used the Olive Vine Glimmer Mist and Garden Blossom Stencils to add interest to the burlap for the spine of the journal. I again used the Garden Blossom Stencil and Olive Vine Glimmer Mist to add deminision to the front of the journal. I added an all over Glimmer to the Gingham and Cherry Pattern Paper with Patina and painted on some Candy Apple Red Glimmer Mist to the Cherries. For the butterfly Glimmer Chip, I layered Sunshine, Patina and Candy Apple Red and added more glitter to really make it stand out. For the Grow I combined Olive Vine and Sunshine Glimmer Mist.
I spritzed the manila tag with Sunshine and Coffee Shop Glimmer Mist to give it an old grungy sort of feel. I added Iridescent Gold to the images and then topped them with more glitter to make the flowers pop. Everyone loves glitter don’t they? For the precious little Glimmer Glass bird I combined a red glitter and a iridescent glitter. For the sweet Postage Stamp Frame Fonts I layered Sunshine, Coffee Shop and more Sunshine.
Wishing you a creative day.

Hearts, Hands & Sisters
What do Hearts, Hands and Sisters have in common? They all go great with Tattered Angels and Pink Paislee products.
This month, I totally enjoyed creating these layouts from pictures I hadn’t scrapbooked in several years. It is so much fun looking at pictures and rekindling memories. I loved how Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Bingo Card, Stamps, Glimmer Glass and Chips worked so well with the beautiful Queen Bee Papers from Pink Paislee. Combining all of these elements gave it a wonderful vintage feel.
I used a Glimmer Screen and spritzed Olive Vine Glimmer Mist all over the background to add shine. I then glimmered the Journey Bingo Card with Lemon Grass and sprized light with Coffee Shop. I used the same combinations for the Glimmer Chips.
On the Artisan Swirl Elements by Pink Paislee, I sanded it a little to allow the Olive Vine Glimmer Mist to adhere.
I used the bright, cheery colors of 365 Degree Paper by Pink Paislee to capture my MaMa’s beautiful hands. I spritzed the yellow background using Sunflower Glimmer Mist. I used Waterfall Glimmer Glaze on the Glimmer Glass to color them blue.

On the Artisan Swirl Elements I painted it with Red Velvet and Article Blue Glimmer Mist, lightly sanded and then did an all over misting with Crushed Shells. I just love the distressed effect it gave.

I am so blessed to have Sisters and wanted to capture this moment in time and let them know how much they mean to me. For this layout, I used more of the 365 Degrees Pink Paislee Papers. I used Olive Vine to add glimmer to the background. I used Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist to tags and paper elements.

For the Artisian Swirls Elements I painted with Cranberry Zing, Olive Vine Glimmer Mist and Waterfall Glimmer Glaze. Then I added more glimmer by doing an all over spritz with Iridescent Gold. I used Waterfall Glimmer Glaze to give the Glimmer Glass Butterfly that blue look.
I just love the look of Tattered Angels and Pink Paislee together.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Fun in the Sun
With warmer days, flowers blooming and Spring all around I love to capture my memories of fun in th sun with bright cherry colors. For this project I used All Aflutter My Little Shoebox line of papers. I spritzed the background paper with Lemon Zest Glimmer Mist to give an all over shine.
Then used the Butterfly Glimmer Screen Screen and misted lightly with Tuttie Fruiti. I misted Sweet Clover on the green pattern paper. Then then added Dazzling Diamonds and brayered them on all the accent flowers and journaling flower.
These bright, fun papers really captured my niece’s sunny personality.
For my next layout, I used Nathalie Kolbachi’s EMotions line of papers. These were so fun to play with and as soon as I saw the sun pattern paper, I just knew the memory that I wanted to capture of a special day, filled with sun and lots of fun…
I generously spritzed Lemon Zest on for the background, then I used Glimmer Glam Paprika for the Glimmer Chip. I just loved the glimmer flecks in this product. I then added the Beach Bingo Card and Glimmer Glass which I added the Glimmer Glam Paprika and let dry.
A wonderul moment between our kids caught in film.
Birds and nests bring back such sweet memories of days gone by. I used the beautiful vintage inspired papers by Webster’s Pages.
I misted Sunflower Glimmer Mist over the entire card and the Postcard Stamp Framed Fonts and ink it up. I then add brown glitter to the Glimmer Glas shapes to finish.
Wishing you a wonderful Spring filled with many fun and sunny memories.

On the Wings of Prima
I am flying in this month on the Wings of Prima and Tattered Angels…. Oh, I just love all the beautiful papers, yummy floral and leaf embellishments and new canvas apron.
I spritzed with one of my favorite Glimmer Mists – Vintage Pink, then laid down the butterfly glimmer screen, and fence and spritzed with Coffee Shop and Olive Vine.
I dyed Prima’s lace with Coffee shop and Vintage Pink. I used a combination of Vintage Pink and Crushed Shell to custom dye the luxurious velvet ribbon. I used a combination of Crushed Shell, Vintage Pink and Tuttie Fruiti to color the lovely flowers. I used Vintage Pink to dye the seam binding. Then I used Olive Vine and Crushed Shell on the leaves. This was a great project that was so easy to complete.
I just loved the look of the new Strawberry Kisses Collection from Prima. I just love the color combination of Berry Splash. I combined Crushed Shells and used the swirls Glimmer Screen and then stamped the Glimmer Screen with Candy Apple Red on the background paper.

I used a combination of Crushed Shells and Candy Apple Red on the crocheted flower.
I really glammed up the butterfly Glimmer Chips with Iridescent Gold and then spritzed with Crushed Shell.
I then spritzed the leaves with a combination of Turquoise Blue and Crushed Shells. By using the Crushed Shells on the brighter colors it tones them down a little.
I then then used another pattern paper from the Strawberry Kisses Collection, Cherry Blossom. I just loved the beautiful soft colors of this paper. I used Sweet Clover and the butterfly Glimmer Screen to add more texture to the pattern paper.

I then brayered Iridescent gold over the frame to give a beautiful glimmer to it.
For the flower I used a combination of Vintage Pink and Tuttie Fruiti and then distressed it with brown ink. For the birds I used Sweet Clover and Turquoise Blue and inked with brown ink and topped with more shine with glitter.
Tattered Angels and Prima just go together. I hope you enjoyed these simple projects and hope they encourage you to take time to let your creativity soar to new heights.
Blessings,
Sheila
Fancy Pants Simplicity
As soon as I received the beautiful Simplicity Line by Fancy Pants, I knew exactly the people that I wanted to capture in my artwork – my beloved mom and grandma. The beautiful colors paired with vintage inspired sewing elements so reminded me of them.
I used Tuttie Fruiti Glimmer Mist to the pink pattern paper and did an all over spritz of glimmer using the Chocolate Covered Cherries on the brown pattern paper.

To make the Glimmer Glass look like vintage film strips, I inked with brown ink and then rubbed Stickles into the back, thus coloring the Stickles and giving it a vintage golden glow. I then heat set it and distressed it with permanent black ink and then stamped the postcard with the love stamp. I just loved how it turned out.

This is one of my favorite pictures of us as little girls with my Grandma and Granddad. Just look at our smiles… it says it all! We were loved…
On the pink pattern paper, I masked and then stamped the mask on the paper using the Tuttie Fruiti Glimmer Mist. I then gave an all over glimmer to the brown pattern paper with the Chocolate Covered Cherries Glimmer Mist.

On the butterfly Glimmer Chip I used a combination of Crushed Shells, Tuttie Fruiti and then painted on the Jazz Blue to accent. To finish the butterfly I added Dazzling Diamonds to add more glimmer.

On the blue pattern paper, I spritzed with the Jazz Blue Glimmer Mist and then inked around the corners to give it a worn vintage feel. I then did an all over spritz with the Tuttie Fruiti on the pink pattern paper and stamped the clock image. Finishing the top of the layout, I added some of the Fancy Pant’s rub-ons.

For the flowers, I used a combination of Crushed Shells and Tuttie Fruiti. I used then used the Travel Glimmer Chip and Glimmer Glass and used the same technique as above using the brown ink and Stickles.
I love the simplicity and vintage feel of these layouts using Fancy Pants Simplicity line and Tattered Angels together. What a great combination!
I hope you have a creative day.
Inspired
This month I was inspired by the beautiful vintage inspired Webster’s Pages papers and embellishments. As soon as I saw these papers, I just knew that I needed to do a layout from one of my favorite pictures of my mom.
I used Bubbles Glimmer Mist on the blue pattern paper to give just a hint a glimmer and shine. I used Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist on the pink pattern paper and then spritzed Crushed Shells for the journaling.
I painted Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist on the Webster’s Page Cameo and added glitter. It fit perfectly in the Glimmer Glass accent. For the Framed Fonts Postage Stamp Chipboard frame I used a combination of Crushed Shells, Vintage Pink and Viva Pink.
The nature pictures of the Webster’s Pages inspired me use the new Custom Cut-Outs Paper Tags – Rockin’ Renaissance tag to create a bird tag. I had a great time creating this tag using Crushed Shells and Chocolate Covered Cherry.
I used the fun, new Ir-Resist-ible Chips – VaVa Victorian Bird. I just loved when I sprayed on the Glimmer Mist and then wiped off it reveals the pattern.
I then combined Glimmer Glass, vintage pearls, lace and twigs complete this fun and easy tag.
Since it is February, the month for lovers, I decided to make a fun simple decoration using Timeless Romance Glimmer Screen and heat embossed the heart design with the Timeless Romance Screen Prints – Clear Stamps. I then stamped on the vintage album page with the sames stamp set. I just love the vintage inspired postcard and stamp designs.
I then used the Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist to dye the twill and flowers. I then used more the the Ir-Resistable Chips – VaVa Reniasance Rose and Heart chipboard. Just look at the pattern and detail in them!
I then glimmered the Framed Fonts Postage Stamp frame with Crushed Shells and Chocolate Covered Cherry Glimmer Mist. I then added vintage buttons and lace to finish. I have enjoyed being inspired by beautiful papers and fun, new product.
I hope you are inspired to create soon.

Nature’s Album
After I found out that I was to create with the Nature’s Album, I immediately knew which paper line that I wanted to create with… Webster’s Pages Nature’s Storybook.
I just love the rich colors and vintage nature images. I used their beautiful pattern papers, alphabet stickers and journaling cards. I then paired them with the Nature’s Glimmer Glass, Glimmer Chipboard, Prima Flowers, lace, ribbons and fabric to complete the look.
I
I used a combination of Juniper, Iridescent Gold, Cranberry Zing, Pashmina, Marshmallow, Coffee Shop and Sapphire Glimmer Mist.
I enjoyed creating a daily reminder of how blessed I am each day to be able to spend it with my family growing, learning, dreaming and snuggling.
I took a small paint brush and painted Glimmer Mist on the flowers to coordinate with the papers.
So this album is a gentle reminder of how blessed I truly am, each and every day. From Sunday….
Monday….

Tuesday….

Wednesday….

Thursday….

Friday…

and Saturday….

This album reminds me that every day I have a beautiful day just by being surrounded by my family and friends.

Wishing you a beautiful day each and every day.

Winter Wonderland
I just love snow. There is something about watching the snow falling quietly, softly, peacefully outside while snuggled up inside.
Even though, it isn’t currently snowing here in Missouri,
I am reminded of all the fun and wonderful winter memories we have had by putting together this beautiful Tattered Angels Frosty Memories Album Kit.
Boys will definitely be boys with snow…
I took out my paint brush and “painted” the Snowday Checklist with the Glacier, Denim Blue and creme de Chocolat Glimmer Mist adding a little green paint that I had watered down for the pine trees.
I then topped it with a dusting of glitter.
This kit if filled with lovely vintage images, Glimmer Chips and sayings.
The great thing about having a huge hill in your backyard is that it makes sledding so much fun.
All the family joins in the fun…
and some wipe outs cause a tear or two…
But just add a few friends, a couple sleds,
and some snow and smiles are seen once more.
Even our Pom Puppies enjoy the snow…
if only for a little while.
All the fun, cold noses and frosty fingertips make for warm memories and a bundle of clothes and shoes to dry out.
Wishing you all a winter wonderland, filled with magical memories.

Decorating Tattered Angels & Graphic 45 Style
November is a month to be reminded of how thankful and blessed we are and to start thinking about the Christmas Season. For my household it is a time to start snuggling in and doing some last minute fall decorating and start preparing for our Christmas decorating festivities.
Inspired by Graphic 45 Transatlantique Collection rich fall colors, I covered an old vintage tin the Graphic 45 papers that had been glimmered with Golden Terracotta, Tiger Lily and Iridescent Gold.
I then stamped the Tattered Traveler Clock and used Golden Terracotta, Tiger Lily and Turquoise Blue Glimmer Mist. I then punched leaves from the paper and misted them with Red Velvet.

I then added the Glimmer Glass key and dyed the twill with Golden Terracotta. I then put filled the tin with leaves, sticks, berries and a vintage earring to complete.
Christmas is filled with so many memories of my dear family, so I created this banner as a reminder of all those wonderful memories. I used the Family Bingo Board and glimmered it with Candlelight, Peppermint Stick and Forest Green.
I sprayed Marshmellow over the Graphic 45 papers and inked them. I then added vintage buttons, lace, measuring tape, a jingle bell and holiday pick.

Graphic 45 is one of my favorite paper lines. The beautiful vintage images and colors bring back memories of yesteryear. Seeing all the beautiful Christmas images, inspired me to do an angel canvas. I glimmered the Graphic 45 paper with Candlelight.
I used my sewing machine to texture and tore the papers for a vintage worn feel. I then added the Marshmellow and Candlelight to the Scroll Glimmer Chip. I used the Graphic 45 images and added highlights to the images with Peppermint Stick and Marshmallow.
I used Suede for the Keyhole Glimmer Chip. I added the Graphic 45 vintage looking frame completed it with vintage buttons, lace, and embellishments.
May you have a blessed day.
