More Tattered Angels and Webster’s Pages Goodness
Hi Everyone! This is Susan and I’ve got quite a few Tattered Angels and Webster’s Pages projects to share with you today, using the new CHA releases of course!
First up, here’s a layout I created using the lovely new Timeless Romance collection and Webster’s Pages Sweet As Cherry Pie papers.

I misted directly onto the patterned paper, using the Timeless Romance heart glimmer screen with Rose Tea and Tutti Frutti. I then stamped the new postcard frame from the Timeless Romance clear stamps as a frame for my photo.

I’ve used the new Timeless Romance Calling Cards in the cluster to the right of the photo. I misted the entire card with Old Lace, then painted in the roses and leaves with Scarlet and Lime Twist.

The title alphas are from the new Postage Stamps Framed Fonts. I misted these with Iridiscent Gold to give them a glint of shimmer while retaining the original ivory shade, and outlined the alphas in Lime Twist.

Webster’s Pages papers are great for cutting out and here you can see the dimensionality I created with the lace and cut-outs.
Next up is this altered tag which I just completed yesterday and I love the shabby-chic feel of it. These Tailored Tags are new from Tattered Angels and their size is perfect for altering.

I misted the tag with Lemon Grass, Caribbean Blue, Burnt Red and Vintage Pink, then cut out the bird and leaves images from the very pretty Postcards from Paris paper.

I added a lace trim in ecru, a velvet green ribbon and a pleated brown satin ribbon to the tag, and set that off with a custom-coloured flower. I wanted the flower to match the tag perfectly, so I misted the originally-white flower in Moonlight.

To complete the tag, I added a Glimmer Glass dragonfly from the Nature collection as well as some lace trims and a pearl brad to the top of the tag.

I designed the tag with a pocket so you can slip in a little message or greeting into the pocket. Here, I’ve slipped in a Paper Tag from the new Rockin’ Renaissance collection.
The next few projects I created for CHA Winter. This next one is a shadow box I created using Webster’s Pages Postcards from Paris papers.

I misted the background cardstock in the new Hula Hoop and Water Slide shades, over a large grand-scale Glimmer Screen from the Garden Collection.

Here you can see the different layers I’ve created from the use of lace, cut-outs from the patterned paper and chipboard. The title “Winter Berry” sits on the new Postage Stamp Framed Font chipboard frame, which I misted with the new Dazzling Diamonds. I love this new mist. All the glimmer without the colour.
To complete the garden feel, I added in a glimmer glass bird and a glimmer glass flourish corner.

Here’s the project from another angle so you can see the shadow box effect.
A romantic card next, with flowers, sheer ribbons, lace and Magical Wishes paper from Webster’s Pages.

The lock and key are a Glimmer Chip and Glimmer Glass from the Regal collection. I misted the lock chip in Flower Power and Vintage Pink, allowing the raised embossed details to show through, which I then highlighted with some stickles.

I wanted the flower to stand out so opted to keep it in its original ivory shade, but liberally misted with Dazzling Diamonds and Iridescent Gold so the glimmer would catch the sunlight.
Finally, here’s an altered canvas I created using the new Seaside Collection and Graphic 45’s new On The Boardwalk papers.

Glimmer Mists work really well on canvas. I misted the canvas in Caribbean Blue and Sunshine over the new On The Beach Glimmer Screen.

And one of my favourite mists this season – Dazzling Diamonds on the Prima flower and Dazzling Diamonds and Bubbles on the Seaside glimmer chip shell.

I misted this chipboard heart with Candy Apple Red and crackle glazed it. The patterned paper’s from Graphic 45’s new On The Boardwalk collection. Love the vintage images.

This seahorse glimmer glass is part of the new Sea Glass collection. I also dabbed on some of the new Glimmer Glaze in Emerald Cove on the top left corner with a paint brush. I used the new Crushed Shells glimmer mist on the manila tag, misting over another new glimmer screen from the Under The Sea collection.

Jon the rest of the design team for all of February as we show you more of what we’ve created using the brand new Tattered Angels releases, as well as Webster’s Pages.
Have a great week!

Christmas projects galore
Ti’s the Season! It’s been so fun just working away on Christmas projects that past few weeks. Before we know it it will be here. I love altering, so all my projects this month were things I had on hand and had been wanting to alter. Below is a altered project I did using a square tin. (The tin piece is about 1/2 inch deep). I used Graphic 45 Christmas papers for these first two projects. I found that “Brick” and “Forest Green” Glimmer mist colors worked really well with these papers. The aged look was done by using “Old Lace” Glimmer mist. A also used “Iridescent Gold” Glimmer Mist as an over all topcoat when I was finished. I loved finishing off a project with the Embossed Chipboard Corners from Tattered Angels. I double layered my papers , by cutting and adding foam squares between the layers for dimension. I also added “flower flock” and glitter to the tree and to Santa’s beard.

I had alot of fun layering , spraying, cutting and folding on this project for sure!

The project below done with the same papers and colors.. and using one of the screens from the “Iron Works” screen set.

I’m going to be using this little box album set for a gift.. so my sis will be able to add her own photos.

I have also been working on my Christmas Album kit from Tattered Angels.

One of the other things I wanted to share with you was something new I tried. I had seen a number of cute and inexpensive poly-resin things at different craft and hobby stores ,and always wondered what Glimmer Mist would look like on them. Well… the Christmas things have now been on sale 1/2 off, so it really tempted me to get some and give it a whirl. I love the outcome. It does repell the Glimmer Mist slightly.. so I found that putting it on in lighter, multipul layers, got the best results. I love the outcome! I decided I wanted to set mine on my cake plate..so I made a “doilie” looking piece to go underneath.

Okay… one more thing. Liz had a tutorial posted HERE showing how to make gift tags that is so fun!
I made a number of them … that hopefully they will be able to use for ornaments next year.
I used vintage photos from Crafty Secrets in place of photos for mine.

Thanks for letting me share my Christmas Crafting.
Wishing all of you a wonderful Holiday with those you love!
Sharing some Tattered Angels Holiday goodness:)
Ahhhhhhhhhh…. so nice to be back! Not that I really left but now I can officially say how happy and honoured I am to have been invited by Tattered Angels to be one of the Golden Ambassadors! I guess that means I am officially a Glimmer Mist Addict and I am totally okay with that! Not only do I get to continue to share some Tattered Angels Goodness with my students as an Educator, I get to rejoin this uber talented team and share some more goodness with you here too…WOW! What a thrill!
So without further adieu, here we go!!!
With the holidays fast approaching I thought I would share some quick tags that you can create using your favourite Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists, screens, stamps, Glimmer Chips and brand new Calling Cards.
I know that the free minutes between now and the big day are virtually non existent but I am hoping you can find at least a couple to try your hand at these quick and simple tags.

This first one was done by first stamping the fleurish stamp randomly over a regular tag. Spray with Olive Vine and Peppermint Stick Glimmer Mists and blot off excess. Apply a die cut felt tree (this one is by Prima) and embellish with self adhesive rhinestones. Tie some ribbon through the tag hole and cover knot with a large decorative crystal and VOILA! A very quick and simple tag is finished:)

Tag #2 was also stamped but sprayed with Caramel Apple Glimmer Mist. Attach a torn strip of paper (Graphic 45) and staple on some decorative trim and twine. Glimmer Mist and ink a pocket watch, secure a seasonal image to the backside and glue to front of the tag. Age some lace with! Glimmer Mist and attach that to the watch as well. And guess what… you are finished

Tag 3: Glimmer Mist the tag using Glimmer Screens as well so you can provide a bit of a contrast and pattern to the background. Spray and embossed Glimmer Chip (small oval frame from Regal collection). Secure vintage image to backside and attach to the front f the tag. Attach cut out images and quote, embellish with misted lace and again… you are FINISHED!
Those were easy, eh? Now onto a couple more that although involved a few more minutes, the end result is pretty superb!

This particular tag is a giant tag (about 4″X8″) so I had more room to play with. I stamped and sprayed the background and the crumpled the tag and dipped it in the remaining Glimmer Mist on my mat so it collected in the crevices. I also stamped and sprayed a mini file folder (7 gypsies) and sprayed my Glimmer Alphas. Once they were dry, I added some ink and secured them over a decorative paper trim.

I have always loved the large embossed fleurish in the Regal Collection but this time I wanted a more defined pattern with the embossing so I ren it through the cuttlebug on a whim and look close and you will see the definition. I LOVED it! I added a bit of ink to further define the new embossed pattern and secured it to my tag with mini pop dots. I layers the file folder with a mini Calling Card and lovely fabric flower that was lightly misted too. I added some distressed lace and velvet ribbon and now can call this one finished too!

The final tag for you today involves another giant tag that was stamped and misted. I layered various Graphic 45 papers and even cut the Santa image in the frame from a sheet of paper too.

I cut many of the postage stamp images and layered them with the medium sized calling card. I finished it off with the “Merry Christmas” that was cut out from a patterned paper too. The entire piece was “wiped” with Glimmer Mist to further distress the tag.
So there you have it, 5 tags… just for YOU! Be sure to take some time this holiday season and make some time for you:) Take lots of photos, and remember the reason for the season. Don’t fret over the small things and cherish every single moment with you family! OH! And don’t forget to get all of your favourite goodies on your wish list for Santa before it is too late!
Happy Holidays!

Joy Album
Hello everybody, as you know this month the Design Team was asked to work with some of the Glimmer kits … I received the Victorian Christmas kit and it was so much fun to do!

I first covered most of the inside pages using one of the glimmer screens and the wheatfields glimmer mist, I let the pages dry and covered them with pieces of patterned paper and old sheet music.

For the cover I just tied a piece of twill tape, Gingham ribbon and a piece of twine cord with the metal key included in the kit, then I secured the ribbon with small brads.

Next I covered some chipboard letters in forest green and some frames with wheatfields, once they were dry I sprinkled some glitter and I added to the pages of the album

I embellished the album with buttons and tulle and some ribbon and metal that came with the kit

One thing I love of the Tattered Angels albums is that they have lots of internal pages so you can add lots of photos, details, embellishments, Journaling etc!

Hope you like this album, Have a great day
Beatriz Jennings.
Graphic 45 and Tattered Angels Love…
Hi! Patty here with my first post on the Tattered Angels blog and it’s the last post of our month of Graphic 45 collaboration. To be honest when I got the papers in the mail, I thought this would be a challenge because it didn’t look like paper I would normally select to work with; but as it turned out - I really loved these papers! The colors and patterns work so nicely together and they look great with kraft paper; which is one of my favs! So, let me show you what I made…
When I saw the Transatlantique Collection, it reminded me of a vintage suitcase covered in stickers from around the world – and then I thought about my own travels and the little foreign coin collection I’ve gathered over the years. So, I thought it would be nice to alter some type of container to make a home for these coins. When I went to the craft store I found a tiny balsa wood suitcase – it was perfect! I removed all of the hardware and then I sprayed the whole thing with glimmer mist. I used Coffee Shop and Graphite on the outside and Sapphire on the interior. I cut out bits and pieces from the Graphic 45 papers and glued them to the outside of the suitcase, then I coated the exterior with Mod Podge. I reattached all of the hardware and embellished the top with chipboard letters (framed fonts from the Nature and Traveler collections), letter stickers and a coin. As a little added touch, using large 3-D dots I adhered two chipboard photo corners (from Regal glimmer chips) to the underside of the top. These created a holder for a glimmer chip magnifying glass (from Nature glimmer chips). I’m still looking for an actual small magnifying glass that I will attach to this glimmer chip so it can be a functional addition to the box.

Next I made a few cards. The all use papers from Graphic 45 Transatlantique Collection. On the first two I used the Graceful Journey Screen Prints and Glimmer Screens. I love the butterfly in this set, it’s the perfect size for cards. The brown glimmer mist is Coffee Shop and the green is Forest Green. I added a few simple embellishments: decorative pins, gems and letter stickers.

On the next card, I used the butterfly embossed glimmer chip (from the Nature set). I sprayed it with Suede glimmer mist and sanded it to reveal some of the white chipboard.

On this last card, I used a glimmer screen from the Garden Blossom set. I sprayed it with Meadow Green glimmer mist and used it like a stamp to make a background for the flowers that I puched-out of the patterneded paper. Then I just added a few gems, ribbon and letter stickers.

Well, that’s it for me today. I hope you enjoyed and were inspired by the past month of Graphics 45 and Tattered Angels love. Next month’s focus is on Glimmer Kits! These are kits that include a variety of Tattered Angels products – making it easy for you to just open the box and start creating! There are even some inspiration images included with the kits to get you going. So be sure to check back throughout next month and see how much goodness you can get out of Glimmer Kits!
Take care – Patty
A Graphic Glimmer Experience
I can’t tell you how much fun I had to work with all the yummie Tattered Angels Products and the amazing Graphic 45 Papers.
The Transatlantique Collection by Graphic 45 just gave me the kick to start with my travel album about my recent trip to the States where I have been seeing a lot of stunning Nationalparks and Cities.
*Travel*
Supplies: Tattered Angels – Glimmer Mist: Red Velvet, Misty Breeze, Arctic Blue – Framed Fonts Regal Embossed – Glimmer Screens: Tattered Traveler – Clear Stamps: Compass - Bingo Boards and Calling Cards: Travel ; Graphic45: Transatlantique Collection – Pack Your Bags, Bon Voyage, Transatlantique Tags
I sprayed the Map Paper with Glimmer Mist and rolled a Brayer over it. I also sprayed with Glimmer Mist over white Cardstock and the Compass Screen. After it dried a stamped with the Compass Stamp on top and cut the image out. I sprayed with different Glimmer Mist over the Chipboard letters and as I wanted the color really saturated I didn’t blot it off but simply heat dried it.
*Road Trip*

Supplies: Tattered Angels: Glimmer Screen Tattered Traveler, Tattered Traveler Clock, Framed Fonts Regal Embossed – Graphic45: Transatlantique Collection Traveloque, All Aboard, Paris Post
I used chalk over the Glimmer Screen and then stamped with the clock above it.
The Christmas Paper we got totally set me into holiday mood and I created the following Layout:
*Joy*

Supplies: Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Candlelight, Cranberry Zing; Framed Fonts Regal Embossed, Notes From the Garden Stamps – Graphic45: Christmas Collection Deck the Halls, Letters to Santa, We wish you a merry Christmas
I painted part of the paper with acrylic paint, I sprayed some Candlelight Glimmer Mist on top of a teflon sheet and used it with part of the Notes From The Garden Stamp and blotted the access off. I used Cranberry Zing Glimmer mit with the Framed Fonts and stamped the journaling stamp from the Notes From the Garden Set on top of some paper which I attached behind one of the Embossed Frames.
And then I created those Christmas Ornaments:

Supplies: Tattered Angels – Glimmer Mist Juniper, Misty Breeze, Irisdescent Gold, Graphite, Denim Blue, Turquoise Blue; Chip Tiles Regal Embossed; Framed Fonts Regal Embossed; Glimmer Glass Frosty Memories, Clear Stamps Nature Field Notes
Graphic 45: Ode to Joy Paper, Ranger Liquid Pearls and Inks, Adorondack Dimensional Pearls, Martha Stewart Glitter, 3L Adhesive, Ribbon unknown, My Little Shoebox Letter Stickers
I sprayed with different blue colored Glimmer Mists on top of the Chip Tiles as well as on the Frames. On the second ornament I stamped with the swirl stamp from the Field Notes Set. I used eggshell white Acrylic Paint behind the Glimmer Glass Icing and pressed it while still wet on top of the Chip Tile as the paint works as a great glue. I used Dimensional Pearls inside the second Frame and dipped little dots on the embossed dot parts of the Chipboard Tiles and Frames.
I hope those layouts, projects and technics inspire you- have a wonderful and gorgeous day!

Happy Thanksgiving
Mandy signing in to wave Hello from down under Australia.
Thanksgiving is a special celebration in North America. It is a time to think of family and friends, for me that includes family and friends in Plymouth MA and my new friends here with Tattered Angels.
Thank you for welcoming me to the team.
Graphic 45’s Renaissance range is full of lovely autumn shades just perfect for seasonal creative projects. Graphic 45’s double sided Renaissance papers gave a warm flavor to this welcome wall hanging finished off with fleur de lis for a little flourish.
Details:
Renaissance Bona Fide to cut leaves using both sides of matching red and gold
Renaissance Triumphant Striped cutting along the stripes and patching together for a nice long banner.
Tattered Angels leaf shape from Nature Graceful Journey collection and Fleur de Lis and swirl from Regal collection.
Glimmer mists: To achieve mottled shades, I layered lots of different colors. Lemon Zest on raw chipboard letters to take the edge off.
All the chipboard has a mix of Sunflower and Tiger Lily with a touch of Suede to bring a brown crunchy edge.
Placecards are a fun decoration, long strips of pretty printed papers folded up make for fun feathers, tucked behind a circle creating a cutie of a turkey shape. Scrolls and vintage print images from Graphic 45 Masterpiece added a nice decorative touch.
Details:
Turkey Graphic 45 Awakening cut in strips & Masterpiece for the lovely scrolled prints. Topped off with a touch of glimmer mist Peppermint Stick.
And the last of the Renaissance Bona Fide went into a few more leaves for the table. Tattered Angels leaf stamp from the Nature Graceful Journey collection
Instant communication makes it is easy to forget formal thank you’s but saying thank you is the nicest compliment you can give your host, so don’t forget to put it in writing.
Details: Graphic 45 Venetian Lace lettering makes an easy choice for letter blocks glammed up with a splash of Glimmer Mist candlelight. Graphic 45’s Awakening is a pretty background print for seasonal projects but I had run out of cardstock to carry off the color scheme – until I saw that Glimmer Mist Olive Vine matched perfectly trimming off a plain white card to be just the little more sparkly. A quick mist of Iridescent Gold sealed all the layers.
In this part of the world, today is just another day on the calendar but the concept of giving thanks is too sweet to not want to celebrate especially in all the wonderful glimmer mist shades of . . . . . Olive, Candlelight, Peppermint Stick, Lemon Zest, Suede, Tiger Lilly and Sunflower.

Adding a glimmer to Graphic 45
Hello it’s Jamie here. I am so excited to be working with Tattered Angel and Graphic 45 papers this month. I had the joy to work with the Transatlantique Collection and the Renaissance Faire Collection.
My first piece is a wall hanging I made with one of the Tattered Angels Regal Chip Tiles. I sprayed the tile with Sunflower and Wheat Fields. I then distressed it with ink. I sprayed all of the Graphic 45 paper with Iridescent Gold and folded and molded the paper in place, to make the bow and ruffle. The paper is thick and gives very well without tearing. Framed Mona Lisa with a Tattered Angel Chipboard frame.

With a little extra accents to finish off the piece

For my next two pieces I Used a combination of the two collections.
My LO is of a trip to Pismo Beach and I love how the Graphic 45 paper complements the picture so well. The colors of Glimmer mist I used on this page were; Suede and Olive Vine for the background, Suede and Sun-kissed Peach for the Tattered Angels Creme Collection swirl and Bingo Card, On the Day at the Beach tag I used Olive Vine and Suede, And on the picture frame I used Iridescent Gold. I sprayed and brayered the cardstock then used the Tattered Angels Compass Stamp to create my background.

To add detail to the Creme Glimmer Chip Swirl I added twine to add dimention. Topped it off with fabric and shells we found wile on the beach.

For my last project I created a canvas of a day at Pismo Beach. Tattered Angels Glimmer mist blends well with Artist’s mediums. I blended Pinecone and Frozen Lake with Gloss Gel Medium. TIP: try not to blend too much or the result may begin to look muddy and muted. Before the medium dried I adhered A Tattered Angels Beach Bingo Card to the canvas into the medium. I them used Artic Blue along with The travel series Stencil. After I sprayed my stencil I turned it over and used it as a stamp in the corner . Added my Graphoc 45 Transatlantique papers and embelishments. I highlighted the little ones by using one of the clock Glimmer Chip outlines.

Look at how well the Glimmer mist Mixes with the Gel Medium.

Thank You for coming by Tattered Angels Blog. I hope I have given you new ideas and techniques to use with your Tattered Angels products.
Hugs
Jamie
