CHA Sneek Peak Beautiful Nature Tiles

Nature Chip Tiles
Nature Chip Tiles

Detailed view of the intricate design of the butterfly.

Ok I  am not very good at keeping a secret, so I will show you my whole project :) .

I have been trying to format the post it did not work.In this project I used the new nature chip tiles as a small mini album. I attached the album to a larger piece of chipboard.

The detail on the Nature chip tiles was begging to be colored. I used a waterbrush and multiple colors to bring out the embossed designs. I added many layers and multiple colors to the base of the chip tiles.

The glimmer stained glass elements were created by coloring the underside of the glass with Copic markers, and than using the heat tool to  bend and mold the pieces. I love the look of stain glass and have found this technique provides some amazing results with little effort.

Welcome to the garden of a girl who believes in fairytales and dreams in color. A non traditional view of nature. Here the world is viewed through my rose color glasses.

Summer Fun Tattered Angels and Cosmo Cricket Style…

Cosmo Cricket and tattered Angels teaming up for a great blog relay

I am elated I was able to work with this adorable summer line Snorkel from Cosmo Cricket. The colors were so bright vibrant and went perfect with the summer colors from Tattered angels. The background paper was created using white bazzill and coloring it with riptide and lime twist. I used tattered leather for all my distressing and the embossed regal chips were colored using the cherry blossom. Summer is in the air and this cute lo shows a special bond between my son and his little girlfriend at the aquarium.

IMG_1374-1 I will be posting my classes for Scrapbook Expo in Orlando by tonight. Make sure to sign up  they are sure to be a hit and sell out fast.

I hope you have a Scrappy Day

Wonderland Album

Winter wonderland, I have no idea what this means. I live in Florida so I had to look at pictures of what the winter wonderland looks like. I have to say I am jealous. I have never made a snowman or had a snowball fight so I hope you like Frosty. I sprayed the wood album with coffee shop, iridescent gold, and black gold. The snow flakes were sprayed than outlined in stickles than sanded and sprayed with silver bells glimmer mist.

The glimmer chips were sprayed with pearl and crystal stickles added to the peaks.

I created the glimmer glass lamp by spraying cardstock with tiger lily adhered the lantern over the top added a glimmer chip snowflake sprayed with Patina a few rhinstones and stickles for his nose.

I love to add a little something vintage to my work so I try to use vintage lace or crafty secrets vintage diecut sayings.

Have a scrappy Day
