Inspired
This month I was inspired by the beautiful vintage inspired Webster’s Pages papers and embellishments. As soon as I saw these papers, I just knew that I needed to do a layout from one of my favorite pictures of my mom.
I used Bubbles Glimmer Mist on the blue pattern paper to give just a hint a glimmer and shine. I used Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist on the pink pattern paper and then spritzed Crushed Shells for the journaling.
I painted Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist on the Webster’s Page Cameo and added glitter. It fit perfectly in the Glimmer Glass accent. For the Framed Fonts Postage Stamp Chipboard frame I used a combination of Crushed Shells, Vintage Pink and Viva Pink.
The nature pictures of the Webster’s Pages inspired me use the new Custom Cut-Outs Paper Tags – Rockin’ Renaissance tag to create a bird tag. I had a great time creating this tag using Crushed Shells and Chocolate Covered Cherry.
I used the fun, new Ir-Resist-ible Chips – VaVa Victorian Bird. I just loved when I sprayed on the Glimmer Mist and then wiped off it reveals the pattern.
I then combined Glimmer Glass, vintage pearls, lace and twigs complete this fun and easy tag.
Since it is February, the month for lovers, I decided to make a fun simple decoration using Timeless Romance Glimmer Screen and heat embossed the heart design with the Timeless Romance Screen Prints – Clear Stamps. I then stamped on the vintage album page with the sames stamp set. I just love the vintage inspired postcard and stamp designs.
I then used the Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist to dye the twill and flowers. I then used more the the Ir-Resistable Chips – VaVa Reniasance Rose and Heart chipboard. Just look at the pattern and detail in them!
I then glimmered the Framed Fonts Postage Stamp frame with Crushed Shells and Chocolate Covered Cherry Glimmer Mist. I then added vintage buttons and lace to finish. I have enjoyed being inspired by beautiful papers and fun, new product.
I hope you are inspired to create soon.

More Tattered Angels and Webster’s Pages Goodness
Hi Everyone! This is Susan and I’ve got quite a few Tattered Angels and Webster’s Pages projects to share with you today, using the new CHA releases of course!
First up, here’s a layout I created using the lovely new Timeless Romance collection and Webster’s Pages Sweet As Cherry Pie papers.

I misted directly onto the patterned paper, using the Timeless Romance heart glimmer screen with Rose Tea and Tutti Frutti. I then stamped the new postcard frame from the Timeless Romance clear stamps as a frame for my photo.

I’ve used the new Timeless Romance Calling Cards in the cluster to the right of the photo. I misted the entire card with Old Lace, then painted in the roses and leaves with Scarlet and Lime Twist.

The title alphas are from the new Postage Stamps Framed Fonts. I misted these with Iridiscent Gold to give them a glint of shimmer while retaining the original ivory shade, and outlined the alphas in Lime Twist.

Webster’s Pages papers are great for cutting out and here you can see the dimensionality I created with the lace and cut-outs.
Next up is this altered tag which I just completed yesterday and I love the shabby-chic feel of it. These Tailored Tags are new from Tattered Angels and their size is perfect for altering.

I misted the tag with Lemon Grass, Caribbean Blue, Burnt Red and Vintage Pink, then cut out the bird and leaves images from the very pretty Postcards from Paris paper.

I added a lace trim in ecru, a velvet green ribbon and a pleated brown satin ribbon to the tag, and set that off with a custom-coloured flower. I wanted the flower to match the tag perfectly, so I misted the originally-white flower in Moonlight.

To complete the tag, I added a Glimmer Glass dragonfly from the Nature collection as well as some lace trims and a pearl brad to the top of the tag.

I designed the tag with a pocket so you can slip in a little message or greeting into the pocket. Here, I’ve slipped in a Paper Tag from the new Rockin’ Renaissance collection.
The next few projects I created for CHA Winter. This next one is a shadow box I created using Webster’s Pages Postcards from Paris papers.

I misted the background cardstock in the new Hula Hoop and Water Slide shades, over a large grand-scale Glimmer Screen from the Garden Collection.

Here you can see the different layers I’ve created from the use of lace, cut-outs from the patterned paper and chipboard. The title “Winter Berry” sits on the new Postage Stamp Framed Font chipboard frame, which I misted with the new Dazzling Diamonds. I love this new mist. All the glimmer without the colour.
To complete the garden feel, I added in a glimmer glass bird and a glimmer glass flourish corner.

Here’s the project from another angle so you can see the shadow box effect.
A romantic card next, with flowers, sheer ribbons, lace and Magical Wishes paper from Webster’s Pages.

The lock and key are a Glimmer Chip and Glimmer Glass from the Regal collection. I misted the lock chip in Flower Power and Vintage Pink, allowing the raised embossed details to show through, which I then highlighted with some stickles.

I wanted the flower to stand out so opted to keep it in its original ivory shade, but liberally misted with Dazzling Diamonds and Iridescent Gold so the glimmer would catch the sunlight.
Finally, here’s an altered canvas I created using the new Seaside Collection and Graphic 45’s new On The Boardwalk papers.

Glimmer Mists work really well on canvas. I misted the canvas in Caribbean Blue and Sunshine over the new On The Beach Glimmer Screen.

And one of my favourite mists this season – Dazzling Diamonds on the Prima flower and Dazzling Diamonds and Bubbles on the Seaside glimmer chip shell.

I misted this chipboard heart with Candy Apple Red and crackle glazed it. The patterned paper’s from Graphic 45’s new On The Boardwalk collection. Love the vintage images.

This seahorse glimmer glass is part of the new Sea Glass collection. I also dabbed on some of the new Glimmer Glaze in Emerald Cove on the top left corner with a paint brush. I used the new Crushed Shells glimmer mist on the manila tag, misting over another new glimmer screen from the Under The Sea collection.

Jon the rest of the design team for all of February as we show you more of what we’ve created using the brand new Tattered Angels releases, as well as Webster’s Pages.
Have a great week!

A Traveler Through Time
Hi Jamie here
I was lucky enough to get to design with the Tattered Traveler Album. I decided to dive into some older photos of my sisters and I . I love the round shape of the album. It gives you so much room to design on. I first chose the colors and paper I was going to use. Then went from there.
I chose not to use the Clear overlay this time. But now I can use it on another project. On the cover I used Sunflower, Meadow Green, Lemon Zest, and Iridescent Gold. I took one of the Garden Blossom stencil as a stamp with green meadow. I colored the Prima white roses with Starfish. The bow I washed with Vintage Pink to give it a pink hue. The Letters of the title are from the butterfly font chipboard, sprayed with Starfish and covered with rock candy stickles.

On these next pages I used Star fish and Meadow Green. I used a journaling card from the family set. Sprayed with Candlelight. I hand painted the bingo card with turquoise blue, candlelight, sunflower, suede, and Meadow Green.

I colored the lace to match the page. I used Dreamsicle and Red Velvet. Then made them into flowers. The background is Sunflower and Vintage Pink. I used another of the Garden Blossom masks. The little owl is from the Nature embossed series.

Oh the laughs of this picture LOL. Anyways…. I sprayed the background with candlelight and Meadow Green. I then used one of the masks as a stamp. Also one of the butterfly font frames as a picture corner.

Last but not least. I used Dreamsicle and Red Velvet. Using the Garden Blossom mask as a mask and stamp. The butterflies Are from the Nature embossed collection. Hand painted. I painted the journal card with the glimmer mist as well.
All of the PP used on this book were Sassafras Lass. The Flowers are Prima.
I had so much fun looking through old photos and creating a wonderful keepsake. Thank You for checking out the Tattered Angels Blog. Have a wonderful weekend. And those of you traveling to CHA have a safe trip and hope to see you there. Don’t forget to check out Tattered Angels new products.

Engagement Album
Hi! This is Anabelle and I’m really excited to share a project I made for a friend who was recently engaged. I had the chance to work with the Tattered Traveler album this month. I paired it with some lovely new colors and some products from the Timeless Romance line.
After watching the video with Heidi Swapp, I was inspired to use a lot of color saturation. I removed the pages from the ablum and started spritzing.
The three colors that I used throughout the album were Peppermint Stick, Coral Reef and Tutti Fruiti. (The last two are NEW colors!) For the cover, I sprayed all three and wiped them off with a paper towel to give the deep, smooth saturation of color. I used one of the Regal glimmer screens to create the frame. I sprayed Peppermint stick onto the screen which was laying on my Glimmer Mat. Then, I removed the screen, leaving the reverse image and laid the white cardstock onto it. I love the effect it has. I added and True Romance Calling Card allong with some other embellishments. Note the key and my friends initials on the spine of the album.

I used the heart Glimmer Screen from the Timeless Romance set to create the image on the inside cover. And I used the Regal Glimmer Screen as the background for their initials.

The rest of the pages allow her to add pictures and to write about her engagment and her fiance.

I sprayed some white flowers with the Glimmer Mist and stamped on some of them.

I used a Timeless Romance Calling Card on this page.

I’m so excited for my friend and hope she enjoys saving all of her memories in this album. Thanks for stopping by!
In Flight
Hello everyone, as you know all the Designers we’ve been creating beautiful projects with the Tattered Angels albums… I work with the Nature Glimmer Glass Window Album
For the cover I sprinkled some Vintage pink Glimmer mist and I stamped the tittle with one of the Grand scale clear stamps, then I added some glitter.
All the internal pages are sprinkled with Vitage pink glimmer mist , the chipboard letters with bubblegum pink and the chipboard butterflies with Peppermint stick and covered with glitter.
I am in love with the Grand scale clear stamps !! they give such a nice touch to the projects. And you can use them not only on layouts … what about: albums, cards, home decor etc…
Hope you have a nice day!
Beatriz Jennings.
Butterflies and Babies…
Hello everyone! I’m excited to be with you today as I have a special project to share with you…one using the Nature Glimmer Glass Window Album. Mini albums are right up there at the top of my most favorite things to create….something about their small, compact nature and the way they look filled to the brim and ready to pop that make me love them so.

I sat creating this with my little one right by me coaching me along…this is just for her. She has always been a great little journal-keeper….since she was tiny, I’d give her a place to record her drawings, her ABC’s…anything her heart desired. Now looking back we have a couple of journals filled with her creations and it is fun to look at how she has grown in her education and learning…she now fills her diary with songs, stories, letters, what she is learning at school, etc. So, I thought it was time to let her write her own story….I want to hear in her own words what she remembers and knows about her sweet life this far.
I matted the window with cream tulle to create a touch of softness before painting and then adhering the Glimmer Glass butterfly in the opening. Then added a painted and glittered Glimmer Glass butterfly included in the kit on top of the window and added dimension by bending up the wings and finished it off by adding a flower and button.

The Creme de Rouge Regal Glimmer Chips added perfect touches throughout the album. Here I’ve distressed and glittered the large frame from this set to create the title page for the album.
I think our story is worth telling….of course it is my favorite of all time. It was important to give her areas to include her journaling, so I attached notebook pages taken from a Melissa Frances die cut notebook…they look so beautiful paired with the Tattered Angels products.

I used my favorite Decorative Corner Glimmer Screens with coordinating Regal Classic Accent stamp.

The Glimmer Chips are so fun to use as accents and to also help create little mini focal points such as this photo corner that I used to create the roof of a house.
Lastly, adding a bit of shimmer to the butterflies on the tabs added to the sweet, baby theme and was such a fun way to finish off the page.
The Glimmer Mist colors I used throughout are some of my very most favorite shabby picks…they include Rose Tea, Creme de Cocoa, and Patina.
I love adding trim and ribbon along the edges of my pages…it’s a fun way to bring these elements in and add to the sweet, feminine feel of the album.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

My heart adores…
Hello! Danielle here! This month we were to work on a mini album that we received; mine is the Glimmer Glass Window Album – Nature. I had SO much fun making this! First, let me explain the process a little bit as to how I do a mini album.
I try to come up with a theme for my book before I start, and I found this rub-on that I had in my stash that said, “my heart adores you”. So from there, I wanted to make a mini album about my daughter Kati.
Next, I decided to make EACH page one thing that I love about her.
I also wanted to keep the colors similar throughout the album, so I chose to go with reds, blues and yellows, and then added in tan, gray and black as neutrals to soften it.
Here are more pics of the cover. The clear butterflies come with the mini album!

**If you’d like more info about the white script paper I made on the cover, I posted a tutorial while back on paper casting and how to; you can see it here.**
Now when I started, I decided to keep the left side of the pages as the “attribute” that I love about her along with the journaling, and the right side pages would be a misted butterfly and a photo. This will keep it cohesive throughout the album.
Kati is so gentle with such a sweet soul. I’ve never met anyone quite as soft and tender as she! She’s also very sensitive like I am. This is her with the little baby that I watch a couple of days a week, Ava.
Tip: stamp onto a transparency and cut out/adhere to allow your butterflies to hang off the page!

The butterfly below was misted with Graphite Glimmer Mist. I had a bit of red mixed in on accident, because I was sampling the colors on scratch paper and didn’t wash the stencil off, but I kinda like it. Another tip: Do the stenciling on separate piece of paper and then cut it out and add it into your mini book wherever you’d like. This way if you mess up, your mini album isn’t ruined.
She’s kind, caring and is always thinking about what everyone needs. It’s funny to see that even at age 4, she takes care of the people around her. Last night I said I was cold, and she ran upstairs to get my robe for me (even though she’s usually afraid of the dark) – she loves to please!

This butterfly is misted with Red Velvet Glimmer Mist.
If she sees me upset, she does this thing….I love. She cups her hands in the shape of a heart and tells me, “I love ya, bebe” just like that, all perky and cute to try and make me smile. It works every time.

The blue/yellow butterfly below is misted with Jazz Blue and Lemon Zest. I’m getting braver and starting to blend colors!
On the last page, I painted around a square of paper and added some journaling over the paint. The chipboard butterflies were misted over with Graphite Glimmer Mist and then I journaled inside of the negative space. Lastly, I stamped more Tattered Angels’ butterflies over the top.

The album/stamps/chipboard/stencils are all by Tattered Angels. If you have any questions on the other supplies, please let me know! I want to add more pages to my book, but I have a good start. I think on the back of the book, I’m going to stamp a list of all her attributes.
Thanks for reading!
Danielle
Nature’s Album
After I found out that I was to create with the Nature’s Album, I immediately knew which paper line that I wanted to create with… Webster’s Pages Nature’s Storybook.
I just love the rich colors and vintage nature images. I used their beautiful pattern papers, alphabet stickers and journaling cards. I then paired them with the Nature’s Glimmer Glass, Glimmer Chipboard, Prima Flowers, lace, ribbons and fabric to complete the look.
I
I used a combination of Juniper, Iridescent Gold, Cranberry Zing, Pashmina, Marshmallow, Coffee Shop and Sapphire Glimmer Mist.
I enjoyed creating a daily reminder of how blessed I am each day to be able to spend it with my family growing, learning, dreaming and snuggling.
I took a small paint brush and painted Glimmer Mist on the flowers to coordinate with the papers.
So this album is a gentle reminder of how blessed I truly am, each and every day. From Sunday….
Monday….

Tuesday….

Wednesday….

Thursday….

Friday…

and Saturday….

This album reminds me that every day I have a beautiful day just by being surrounded by my family and friends.

Wishing you a beautiful day each and every day.

Sharing some Tattered Angels Holiday goodness:)
Ahhhhhhhhhh…. so nice to be back! Not that I really left but now I can officially say how happy and honoured I am to have been invited by Tattered Angels to be one of the Golden Ambassadors! I guess that means I am officially a Glimmer Mist Addict and I am totally okay with that! Not only do I get to continue to share some Tattered Angels Goodness with my students as an Educator, I get to rejoin this uber talented team and share some more goodness with you here too…WOW! What a thrill!
So without further adieu, here we go!!!
With the holidays fast approaching I thought I would share some quick tags that you can create using your favourite Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists, screens, stamps, Glimmer Chips and brand new Calling Cards.
I know that the free minutes between now and the big day are virtually non existent but I am hoping you can find at least a couple to try your hand at these quick and simple tags.

This first one was done by first stamping the fleurish stamp randomly over a regular tag. Spray with Olive Vine and Peppermint Stick Glimmer Mists and blot off excess. Apply a die cut felt tree (this one is by Prima) and embellish with self adhesive rhinestones. Tie some ribbon through the tag hole and cover knot with a large decorative crystal and VOILA! A very quick and simple tag is finished:)

Tag #2 was also stamped but sprayed with Caramel Apple Glimmer Mist. Attach a torn strip of paper (Graphic 45) and staple on some decorative trim and twine. Glimmer Mist and ink a pocket watch, secure a seasonal image to the backside and glue to front of the tag. Age some lace with! Glimmer Mist and attach that to the watch as well. And guess what… you are finished

Tag 3: Glimmer Mist the tag using Glimmer Screens as well so you can provide a bit of a contrast and pattern to the background. Spray and embossed Glimmer Chip (small oval frame from Regal collection). Secure vintage image to backside and attach to the front f the tag. Attach cut out images and quote, embellish with misted lace and again… you are FINISHED!
Those were easy, eh? Now onto a couple more that although involved a few more minutes, the end result is pretty superb!

This particular tag is a giant tag (about 4″X8″) so I had more room to play with. I stamped and sprayed the background and the crumpled the tag and dipped it in the remaining Glimmer Mist on my mat so it collected in the crevices. I also stamped and sprayed a mini file folder (7 gypsies) and sprayed my Glimmer Alphas. Once they were dry, I added some ink and secured them over a decorative paper trim.

I have always loved the large embossed fleurish in the Regal Collection but this time I wanted a more defined pattern with the embossing so I ren it through the cuttlebug on a whim and look close and you will see the definition. I LOVED it! I added a bit of ink to further define the new embossed pattern and secured it to my tag with mini pop dots. I layers the file folder with a mini Calling Card and lovely fabric flower that was lightly misted too. I added some distressed lace and velvet ribbon and now can call this one finished too!

The final tag for you today involves another giant tag that was stamped and misted. I layered various Graphic 45 papers and even cut the Santa image in the frame from a sheet of paper too.

I cut many of the postage stamp images and layered them with the medium sized calling card. I finished it off with the “Merry Christmas” that was cut out from a patterned paper too. The entire piece was “wiped” with Glimmer Mist to further distress the tag.
So there you have it, 5 tags… just for YOU! Be sure to take some time this holiday season and make some time for you:) Take lots of photos, and remember the reason for the season. Don’t fret over the small things and cherish every single moment with you family! OH! And don’t forget to get all of your favourite goodies on your wish list for Santa before it is too late!
Happy Holidays!
Trisha
