Candied Christmas…
Hello everyone! After taking a bit of a break, I am happy to be back designing for Tattered Angels. I continue to reach for so many Tattered Angels products…my favorite way to top off a project.
I’ve created a couple of glittery, candied creations for you today. It seems that when creating Christmas projects, a little glitter is a must…it adds to the festive feeling of the holidays.
For these sweet wintry, vintage tags I wanted to try a new technique on the Regal Alpha Framed Fonts chipboard frames. I first coated each frame with Krylon Spray Adhesive and then lightly covered them with Doodlebug Lily White Flocking. After flocking, I then coated each frame with layers of Glimmer Mist in Rose Tea, Tattered Rose, and Walnut Gold. The flocking as the base adds such a softness to the Glimmer Mist.
Next, I sprayed each frame again with the spray adhesive and lightly coated them with mica flakes to add the shimmer.
The Tattered Angels Frosty Memories Glimmer Glass accents were the perfect soft, shabby, vintage feel I needed for to finish each of these tags off. The vintage images come from Crafty Secrets.
One last project for you today using some beautiful Graphic 45 along with Creme de Rouge Nature Glimmer Chips…
I embellished a chipboard birdie from Jenni Bowlin and added it to a chipboard book from Basic Grey….a perfect spot to hold holiday photos.
The Glimmer Chip leaves are coated in gold embossing powder that has been heated up to adhere to the chipboard and provide a beautiful golden glow to the wings.
Thanks for stopping by today….I’ll be back in a day or two with one more project for you using Graphic 45 and Tattered Angels products.
Enjoy autumn!
Melissa
