Sneak Peek CHA Winter 2009

Here it is! We have created a FANTASTIC surface for you to Glimmer Mist on.  It’s soooooo easy to wipe off/clean up.  Glimmer Misting on this PINK MAT is our #1 use, however you can also iron, heat, emboss, wax, you name it, you can craft it on this mat!

NEWS FLASH !!!   These mats are GIGANTOR SIZE, and come in TWO DIFFERENT SIZES- our X Large  Misting Mat is 2′x3′ and our Large Misting Mat is  15″x30″-enough sheet to cover your entire work space.  Misting Mats come in a heavy duty storage tube for transporting to your favorite Glimmer Misting Parties.

We also have an additional  special connection to this product, which is why we made it PINK!

As parents of 3 young children,  and the owner of Tattered Angels,  our schedule is always full…  Kyle, my husband,  has for a long time wanted to be more involved with the breast cancer foundations after losing his mom to breast cancer 12 years ago.  As such,  we have dedicated this wonderful Misting Mat to her, Karen Senger.  She can now be a part of our Angel Team.  Part of the proceeds from the sale of the this product are going to breast cancer research.

New Garden Themed Products!

This layout was created using the new Garden Themed Products to be released at CHA.  I used the Butterfly alphabet chipboard for the title.  Oh, and I used the Powder Puffs ink pad from Quick Quotes to go over the embossed areas of the Butterfly frames ( I used Blue Moon), I love these things!  It is a raised ink pad, not too squishy, not too hard, just right, and it has these cool points on one end of the pad to get into tiny places(like the centers of the chipboard letters).  It just glides right over the embossed areas!  Ok, back to the other materials I used for the layout:  Clear stamp – tree’s, glimmer screens – tree, Iron fence, branch.  Tip:  You can rub ink onto your glimmer screens, lay them on your paper and rub the screen like a rub on for a cool transfer effect.  Glimmer Mist colors:  Garden Fairy, Dew Drop, Cherry Blossom, English Ivy.  Heres another tip:  For the flower centers I sprayed small strips of cardstock with Garden Fairy glimmer mist, then wiped glue onto both sides of strip(without drying mist) then rolled the cardstock into a ball and dried it with my heat gun (sort of a glimmer mist spit wad without the spit!).    I am so loving all of this new stuff, the possibilities are endless!  Be sure to check out the new catalog on the home page, it is gorgeous.

Fabulous New Products

I am just wild about all of the fabulous new products Tattered Angels has come out with for release at Winter CHA!  Here is a layout using the new Tattered Traveler Clear stamps ( by the way, you can spray glimmer mist on clear stamps instead of using ink), Tattered Traveler Glimmer Screens – compass, Framed chipboard alphabet – Tattered Traveler pocket watch, and of course, BEAUTIFUL new colors.  Colors used on this layout:  Tuscan Sun, English Ivy, Blue skies, Tattered Leather.  I love how the new stamps work so well with the new screens!  The colors are so versatile, they can be used for any season, or theme, or reason!

Framed Fonts

Hi, it’s me Vicki, and …..

Oh.. I’m so excited to share with you .. one of the new beautiful products to be released very soon!

I am absolutely in love with these.

This is a peek at a garland I made with (one) of the sets of “Framed Fonts” that will be released.

They .. like the other TA Chipboards , have an adhesive back, which makes them so easy to use.  They are beautifuly embossed.  Ready to be  misted and inked in any color you choose.   I just punched holes in mine to add lace to make a garland.  They  will  be perfect for layouts , aletered projects ect..

For this project, I used only two of the three pieces that make up just one of the letters from the set.  I used paper behind my letters. .. but there is also the chipboard piece ( the inside oval- the peice between the frame and the letter), that can also be used.  I’ll be using that peice on another project soon. (sneaky huh?)lol    The possibilities for this are endless.

Keep watching for upcoming posts.. showing you more of whats to come!
