I’m so excited that the Design Team got to partner up with Websters Pages. Their papers and trimmings are always so delicately beautiful. Be sure to visit Webster’s Pages Inspire Me for even more inspiration in combining Tattered Angels with products from Websters Pages!

Here is a project using Websters Pages on Heidi’s new Fastenation Folder. What an amazing album! The cover has a beautifully elegant resist design, great for Misting. And, the inside pages are a unique concept, in that the pages are bracketed down. The binding is also unique in that it is an accordion fold. So, lots of expandability for stuffing purposes!

Love the texture of this beautiful Webster’s Pages lace. Just gorgeous! And, though I didn’t mist here, this lace is entirely “Mistable.” So make it whatever color you’d like!!!

Here’s a close up of the resist pattern on the album cover. I Glimmer Misted the cover with Pink Bubblegum and Key Lime Pie, then buffed (using a paper towel) some Glam over the top of it to really make the resist pattern pop. Of course, the extra sparkle is always a good thing too….

I sprayed the Pocket Watch Framed Fonts letters with Olive Vine, and after sewing the crepe onto the album cover (yes, sewed directly onto the cover!!!) I sprayed the edges of the ruffles with some Walnut Gold for some age.

Love the gorgeous roses trimmed from Webster’s Pages paper.

I used this clear acetate page (one of the awesome pages found in the Fastenation Folder Add-On pages) as a stencil, and trimmed the Webster’s Pages paper to fit into the album. This gorgeous gold foil frame IS PRINTED ON THE CLEAR ACETATE!!! Amazing, and is gorgeous layered over the patterned paper.

This Add-On page has a beautiful resist pattern that magically appears once sprayed with Glimmer Mist.

You can see by the brackets that I still have plenty of room to create more pages. I better get on that!

We have also revised our Nature Collection Glimmer Kit, which includes paper from Webster’s Pages. If you haven’t played with one of our kits yet, this is a beautiful one to start off with! Each Glimmer Kit includes full color instructions. Be sure to look for this kit at your LSS, or in our Shop!

Check in for more great Tattered Angels/Webster’s Pages projects!!!

Happy Crafting!
Here is what I came up with!

When I started this first page, I really wanted to use the new embossed chipboard heart by Tattered Angels. So that was the basis for my inspiration on this page. I turned it over and misted over the backside of it onto white cardstock with Candlestick Glimmer Mist to form the hearts on the left, and then misted the front of the chipboard heart with Candy Apple Red Glimmer Mist. The same color was used on the chipboard swirl (Candlestick). I used Olive Vine on the chipboard leaves. I love how these are embossed with a resist!

These are pictures of my daughter when she was 2. She loved her little coupe car! I used Sweet As Cherry Pie-Set the Table paper and Mom’s Ingredients paper by Webster’s Pages.

____________________

Next up is a card made with Sweet As Cherry Pie-Little Nibbles paper and Postcards From Paris – La Boutique De Jardin paper by Webster’s. Again I used one of the Tattered Angels new embossed chipboard and sprayed it with Candy Apple Red. I should have sprayed the leaves first with green, but forgot, so I tried to spray the Olive Green over the top of the leaves/red and it turned out to be a maroon-ish color.
The stamps are from the new Timeless Romance Set by Tattered Angels. I curved the “Be My Valentine” stamp on the clear block, so that I could stamp around the circle. It worked out well!

_____________________

My last project is another card with the Timeless Romance stamps. Can you tell these are my favorite? I stamped the heart onto white cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder. Then I sprayed a new Glimmer Mist called Silver Sugar over the top and wiped the embossed part with a paper towel. Then cut it out and added it to my card. The “love”, the line at the bottom and the XOXO circle are also part of this stamp set.
The papers I used here are Nature’s Storybook: Soar Blue Skies and Postcards from Paris: Belle Rose. You should definitely get this Timeless Romance stamp set by Tattered Angels! It can be used so many different ways. I wished I had more time to play with it when working on my projects…I had many more ideas. Thanks so much for reading today. Hope you enjoyed these projects!

I have been having a blast with some of the new products from Tattered Angels. For today’s project, I used a Deep Cradle Claybord (Amspersand) as the base.

The finished piece is approx. 6″ x 6″.

I stamped the large heart and wings from the Timeless Romance stamp set in a Stazon ink onto the claybord. I then painted in the image with Cowboy Glimmer Glaze. It has a wonderful translucency that allows you to see the detail of the stamping, while adding gorgeous, quick-drying sheen to the project. I painted select detail areas, such as the center heart of the stamped image with Luscious Lavender and Tidepool Glimmer Glam.

Once that was dry I sprayed several colors of Glimmer Mist over the top, allowing them to blend together in the middle. The painted areas resist the Glimmer Mist, allowing their original colors to stay true.

I used Cowboy and Emerald Cove Glimmer Glaze to color the key element as well. From silver to this aged patina look:

I also used some Glimmer Glam on this project. I coated the Glimmer Glass flourish as well as the keyhole on the back side with Luscious Lavender Glimmer Glam. Look how they sparkle!

And for a final bit of glamour, I painted Luscious Lavender and Tidepool Glimmer Glam onto the white lace ribbon.

I titled the piece using Webster’s Pages for the sentiment, “la Vie est Belle” (life is beautiful).

All of these product together, create a wonderful, textural piece. Once completely dry, you can add more texture by scratching into the surface of the Claybord to expose the original white surface underneath.

Have fun and keep experimenting with all of the wonderful mixed media products now available to you from Tattered Angels!

And make sure to check out the Tattered Angels Educator blog. Today I’m posting a great organizational tool.

This month I was inspired by the beautiful vintage inspired Webster’s Pages papers and embellishments. As soon as I saw these papers, I just knew that I needed to do a layout from one of my favorite pictures of my mom. I used Bubbles Glimmer Mist on the blue pattern paper to give just a hint a glimmer and shine. I used Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist on the pink pattern paper and then spritzed Crushed Shells for the journaling. I painted Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist on the Webster’s Page Cameo and added glitter. It fit perfectly in the Glimmer Glass accent. For the Framed Fonts Postage Stamp Chipboard frame I used a combination of Crushed Shells, Vintage Pink and Viva Pink.

The nature pictures of the Webster’s Pages inspired me use the new Custom Cut-Outs Paper Tags – Rockin’ Renaissance tag to create a bird tag. I had a great time creating this tag using Crushed Shells and Chocolate Covered Cherry. I used the fun, new Ir-Resist-ible Chips – VaVa Victorian Bird. I just loved when I sprayed on the Glimmer Mist and then wiped off it reveals the pattern. I then combined Glimmer Glass, vintage pearls, lace and twigs complete this fun and easy tag.

Since it is February, the month for lovers, I decided to make a fun simple decoration using Timeless Romance Glimmer Screen and heat embossed the heart design with the Timeless Romance Screen Prints – Clear Stamps. I then stamped on the vintage album page with the sames stamp set. I just love the vintage inspired postcard and stamp designs.

I then used the Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist to dye the twill and flowers. I then used more the the Ir-Resistable Chips – VaVa Reniasance Rose and Heart chipboard. Just look at the pattern and detail in them!

I then glimmered the Framed Fonts Postage Stamp frame with Crushed Shells and Chocolate Covered Cherry Glimmer Mist. I then added vintage buttons and lace to finish. I have enjoyed being inspired by beautiful papers and fun, new product.

I hope you are inspired to create soon.

Hi Everyone! This is Susan and I’ve got quite a few Tattered Angels and Webster’s Pages projects to share with you today, using the new CHA releases of course!

First up, here’s a layout I created using the lovely new Timeless Romance collection and Webster’s Pages Sweet As Cherry Pie papers.

I misted directly onto the patterned paper, using the Timeless Romance heart glimmer screen with Rose Tea and Tutti Frutti. I then stamped the new postcard frame from the Timeless Romance clear stamps as a frame for my photo.

I’ve used the new Timeless Romance Calling Cards in the cluster to the right of the photo. I misted the entire card with Old Lace, then painted in the roses and leaves with Scarlet and Lime Twist.

The title alphas are from the new Postage Stamps Framed Fonts. I misted these with Iridiscent Gold to give them a glint of shimmer while retaining the original ivory shade, and outlined the alphas in Lime Twist.

Webster’s Pages papers are great for cutting out and here you can see the dimensionality I created with the lace and cut-outs.

Next up is this altered tag which I just completed yesterday and I love the shabby-chic feel of it. These Tailored Tags are new from Tattered Angels and their size is perfect for altering.

I misted the tag with Lemon Grass, Caribbean Blue, Burnt Red and Vintage Pink, then cut out the bird and leaves images from the very pretty Postcards from Paris paper.

I added a lace trim in ecru, a velvet green ribbon and a pleated brown satin ribbon to the tag, and set that off with a custom-coloured flower. I wanted the flower to match the tag perfectly, so I misted the originally-white flower in Moonlight.

To complete the tag, I added a Glimmer Glass dragonfly from the Nature collection as well as some lace trims and a pearl brad to the top of the tag.

I designed the tag with a pocket so you can slip in a little message or greeting into the pocket. Here, I’ve slipped in a Paper Tag from the new Rockin’ Renaissance collection.

The next few projects I created for CHA Winter. This next one is a shadow box I created using Webster’s Pages Postcards from Paris papers.

I misted the background cardstock in the new Hula Hoop and Water Slide shades, over a large grand-scale Glimmer Screen from the Garden Collection.

Here you can see the different layers I’ve created from the use of lace, cut-outs from the patterned paper and chipboard. The title “Winter Berry” sits on the new Postage Stamp Framed Font chipboard frame, which I misted with the new Dazzling Diamonds. I love this new mist. All the glimmer without the colour. To complete the garden feel, I added in a glimmer glass bird and a glimmer glass flourish corner.

Here’s the project from another angle so you can see the shadow box effect.

A romantic card next, with flowers, sheer ribbons, lace and Magical Wishes paper from Webster’s Pages.

The lock and key are a Glimmer Chip and Glimmer Glass from the Regal collection. I misted the lock chip in Flower Power and Vintage Pink, allowing the raised embossed details to show through, which I then highlighted with some stickles.

I wanted the flower to stand out so opted to keep it in its original ivory shade, but liberally misted with Dazzling Diamonds and Iridescent Gold so the glimmer would catch the sunlight.

Finally, here’s an altered canvas I created using the new Seaside Collection and Graphic 45’s new On The Boardwalk papers.

Glimmer Mists work really well on canvas. I misted the canvas in Caribbean Blue and Sunshine over the new On The Beach Glimmer Screen.

And one of my favourite mists this season – Dazzling Diamonds on the Prima flower and Dazzling Diamonds and Bubbles on the Seaside glimmer chip shell.

I misted this chipboard heart with Candy Apple Red and crackle glazed it. The patterned paper’s from Graphic 45’s new On The Boardwalk collection. Love the vintage images.

This seahorse glimmer glass is part of the new Sea Glass collection. I also dabbed on some of the new Glimmer Glaze in Emerald Cove on the top left corner with a paint brush. I used the new Crushed Shells glimmer mist on the manila tag, misting over another new glimmer screen from the Under The Sea collection.

Jon the rest of the design team for all of February as we show you more of what we’ve created using the brand new Tattered Angels releases, as well as Webster’s Pages.

Have a great week!

Hello everyone! Can you believe it is already February? :) This month the design team will be showcasing many new Tattered Angels products. We will also be working with Webster Pages. The two go together beautifully!

Here are some projects I made:

I just love the new frame glimmer screens, which I used on the layout above and the another one I will share with you. You can view these and all the rest of the new products in the new catalog!

Love love love the new large Tattered Tags…how fun are they? You could easily use them as a mini album type project. Here I used three of them on my layout. And notice that border…it is the heart stamp stamped over and over again to create a scalloped border.

That background is one piece of a mini album from Clear Scraps. Did you notice the key? That’s just another fantastic product from Tattered Angels.

And I thought I would also share this layout with you, it is one I made for CHA:

Lots of new goodies from the Tattered Traveler line. :)

Well I hope you have a fantastic day! Thanks for stopping by!

Hi everyone! If you were able to attend CHA, hope you have recovered Are you all looking forward to the new products hitting the stores as much as I am! Especially the TA Glitter Glam, I can’t wait for all of the colors of that to be available! If you haven’t seen it yet, there is a link on the TA website homepage for a 2010 catalogue, where you can see all of the upcoming colors for Glitter Glam as well as all of the other new products coming your way.

For my January project, I worked with the Frosty Glimmer Glass Album. However, I modified a bit to make into a nonseasonal album that I’m giving to friends of mine that are moving to Seattle today. Going to miss them bunches…

The layout of the album is basically a theme per page. I left all the journal cards blank so my friends can write what they want to remember about each of the events documented in the photos. In addition to the photo pages, I included some envelopes that have hand-written notes from me and some of their other friends.

For the backgrounds I used a mix of patterned paper and glimmer misted sheets. The patterned paper is all from My Minds Eye and the glimmer mist colors are Sand, Crushed Shells, Meadow Green, Turquoise Blue, Suede, Twilight, Coffee Shop and Candy Apple Red. The paper in these albums is very nice, it really holds up to a lot of Glimmer Mist application.

I placed all of the photos into frames from the Pocket Watch Framed Font Set and the new Postage Stamp Frames Font Set. I just cut the little knobs off of the pocket watch frames to make them plain circles. I sprayed all of the frames with Dazzling Diamonds and Pearl.

The embellishments are from K &Company’s new Blossomwood Collection, My Minds Eye, Making Memories and Mark Richards. When I was done the book end ed up being so thick I decided to bind it with string instead of putting it back into the orginal wire coil binding.

Well, that’s it for me today, for February the Design Team is working with Webster’s Pages and I’m sure you are going to see more of the new products in use as well, so check back often! Take care and thanks for stopping by today. Patty

One of my friends just had her winter birthday. I know her taste is sometimes funky and I also know that she being a Mom to a little one year old boy and is working so she has not much time to do something for herself. So I had the idea of giving her a small funky journal in which she could write her thoughts and so spent some “me”-time. The Frosty Memories Window Album was just perfect to work with!

I used the Rose Moka Grunge Papers which are a perfect fit for the Glimmer Mists and Tattered Angels Stamps. On the left side I attached the paper and sprayed and stamped and the right side I usually used the Journaling stamp from the Notes from the Garden Stampset.

Supplies: Tattered Angels: Frosty Memories Window Album, Notes from the Garden Stampset, Glimmer Mist, Nature Field Notes Stampset, Nature In Flight Stampset, Nature Graceful Journey Stampset, Tattered Traveler Compass Stampset, Regal Alpha Framed Fonts, Nature Butterfly Framed Fonts, Frosty Memories Glimmer Glass, Elegant Emblems Glimmer Screens.

And as an extra I created a gift tag

I used some Ranger Crackle Glossy Accents on the embossed parts of the Chip Tile – I love the effect.

Wishing you a wonderful day!

Mandy in Australia popping in to say how much I love the new Spring and Summer collections, Spring Rain, Lemongrass, Cosmos. Sweet Clover, Hula Hoop, Flower Power, Delphinium, Tutti Fruiti. Sunshine Waterslide and my personal favourite BUBBLES.

Is it spring at your place yet? The new colour range just shouts for joy of the seasons and inspired me to want to create a garden themed journal about special friends. The Frosty Memories album is a great base for flower books, simply popped out the snowflake chip to use on a future project and then went a little wild with colour.

One of the best things I enjoy about Glimmer Mists is that it allows a lot of random pieces to blend together with a colour mist theme. That means we can pick up bargain bin pieces in whites or cream and with the helping tint of glimmer mist everything matches. These flowers were dressed in the fresh flavour of Tutti Fruiti.

A bit of texture paste was blended across the cover to make the journal just a little more earthy, with base coats of Waterslide, accented with Caribbean Blue and then maxed out the glimmer stakes with BUBBLES. Seriously, I can’t believe the fun finish you get with Bubbles.

Dawn’s post about creating a tattoo effect was good fun. When everything is dry, I use the stencils again to outline and accent parts of the design. Of course everyone enjoyed Heidi’s video clips showing how easy it is to pop the combs open to release pages and covers for much more glimmering action and while you have the pages out, why not add a few more in as we did here with one of the bingo cards dressed in the new Timeless Romance stencil.

Little creatures are often a guest in our garden including the geckos. With all the new die cutting machines, the options are endless in silhouette shapes we can cut out for cards. Have you found a use for all those blotter paper towels yet? While misting up this card I realised, the texture was just perfect for inserting into negative spaces or backgrounds. I do like a bit of recycling and this card includes, paper towel, old tags, wire and postage stamps to suit the theme of Australia Day.

Giving a big shout out to the busy gals at Stamp Antics and Scrapping Outback for their Australia Day celebrations and scrapping events.

Ausies take note: Sweet Clover layered a couple of times is pretty close to gum leaf
