Mixing it up
We have had such a great opportunity to play with Prima’s goodies to show how well they work with those from TA – and, boy, do they mix well! Here’s a couple of projects I came up with…
First, a bright and happy card. This one uses Bingo Cards, Glimmer Mist and a hodge podge of Prima flowers.

This second card is a simple “bring me joy” card. This one uses Glimmer Screens, Mist and some beautiful white Prima flowers and paper.

Finally, a layout using some vintage Prima paper and some sprayed little Prima flowers, coupled with a TA postage frame from Framed Fonts, key and some Mist stamped with bubble wrap.

What fun combos can you make mixing things up with Prima and Tattered Angles goodies?! Please do share – we always love to see what you create!
I so need to get a “Clip it Up” after seeing all these wonderful projects from the other DT members – right now all my TA screens are piled in a box that I end up digging through every time I sit to scrap. I think I end up missing a lot in my digging rather than having them all readily available for use. Great ideas, here – so inspired, daily!
Happy scrapping!

Delight in all things Fancy!
Oh, Ms. Nancie of Fancy Pants has done it yet again. She has always been one of my favorite digital designers, starting from way back during the time there were only a couple of places to get digital products (and she’s still doing it at her forever-home in the digital world – Scrapartist!). Since she’s been with Fancy Pants, Nancie has continued with the wonderful designs, turning out great line after great line.
This month, our TA team has had the privilege of playing with Nancie’s Fancy Pants line, Delight. These products are not only so fun and easy to use but also so very simple to mix with so much Tattered Angels goodness.

So, with these goodies from Delight mixed with lots of TA Glimmer Mist and some other TA products like Glimmer Screens and Clear Stamps, I came up with the following hybrid layouts…
For this first layout, I used Glimmer Screens and Mist on some FP background paper. I then stitched a transparency over the paper. After cutting out some other Delight paper that matched the transparency, I layered that on top yet again to give the layout some fun depth.

On this next layout, I decided to use the preview sheet included in the Delight set of papers to use the little mini previews on this layout. I’m not a huge patterned paper person, so this was one way I thought was fun to throw in some pattern without using the huge, 12×12 pieces. First, though, I laid out a bunch of the Framed Alphas frames on a plain sheet of white paper to use as masks and then sprayed a rainbow of colors (really, only three – they just mixed well to create others!).

Finally, just a little vertical fun and some layering. On this layout, there’s some funky stamping and layering of rubons…

What can you come up with this month, mixing and matching products? Have fun with it and don’t be afraid to try some new combos you wouldn’t normally think of…

Webster’s Pages & Tattered Angels – a great combo!
As you have most likely realized by now, we are featuring Webster’s Pages goodies this month, in conjunction with the overwhelmingly yummy Tattered Angels products, a lot of which has just debuted at Winter CHA in Anaheim (and I am very jealous of all of those who made it to CHA!).
Here’s a few things that I came up with…
First, a Welcome card made using some WP papers, some Glimmer Mist over a Postage Stamp alpha frame and a tied ribbon. There’s also a little Travel post card underneath the frame… I love throwing these in or tucking them behind other embellishments to add a little extra dose of hi… The alphas are from Rusty Pickle.

Secondly, a “Be queen for a day because you are worth it” card. Who doesn’t need to be reminded, every once in a while, to be a queen for a day? I know I do in all the hustle and bustle of life – not that it’s a bad thing, of course! This was a simple card made on the back of a bingo board from the Family Bingo Cards set. The star was cut out of a WP paper and silhouette. The star cutout was used twice – once as the actual star on the card and then again with the cutout remnants of the paper used as a mask for some Glimmer Mist over spray.

Finally, a photo-less layout about Wishes. Sometimes it is a challenge in and of itself — to work on a full-sized page without a photo… I dare you to try it! This layout uses the WP background paper, Nature Graceful Journey Glimmer Screen butterfly, Glimmer Mist and a corrugated cardboard cutout sprayed with Mist.

Thanks for stopping by!

Ch-ch-cha!
Who’s going to CHA? Anyone? Sadly, I’m going to miss it this year (both this winter AND summer….pffft.). It will be the first CHA in almost 5years that I’ve missed and it WILL be missed. The upside is that the reason is a great one which I’ll share more of as time goes by.
So, if you are one of the lucky ones to head to Anaheim, be SURE to stop by the Tattered Angles booth (it’s going to be a big ‘un this time – 20×30) that is going to be just overflowing with all kinds of new product and inspirational projects. I”m thinking there will be some fabulous make-and-takes running the entire show, too, so don’t miss those if you’re wandering the floor. Nothing like getting your hands (and shirt and shoes) dirty with a little mmmm Glimmer Mist!
It’s album month, and I put together this little travel album for some of our Christmastime travels. Who says Christmas photos should only be done in reds and greens? I’m not a huge album person (it takes me AGES to get one done) but with Glimmer Mist, I can just spray and keep right on spraying until things get to a happy place – usually VERY quickly!
Before I show off my little album, I have to give the credits (some sneek peeks of what’s coming at CHA!)… The credits include the following products: Glimmer Glass Window Album – Nature, Glimmer Screens – Tattered Traveler, Bingo Boards & Calling Cards – Family, Glimmer Glass – Travel & Beach (NEW), Travel Alphas with Stamp Frames (NEW) and Glimmer Mist in Caribbean Blue, Coral Reef, Popsicle, and Hula Hoop (NEW).

Graphic 45 Goodness
Holy vintage goodness! You must check out these Graphic 45 papers (I’d never heard of them until they teamed with TA recently – maybe my bubble needs to be expanded a bit!!!). It’s all about the travel these days… If you’re looking for some of the perfect papers to compliment your summer or holiday travel adventures, these are the sets for you!!!
Here’s some of the work I did with these papers, as well as, well, you know, some TA Glimmer Mist. I’m learning I typically enjoy starting from just a white background and using the Mist to create my own patterned papers… So fun to play and spray. Just spray away!!! Also remember, if you’re not a huge fan of majorly patterned papers, you can always cut ‘em up and piece them together to use as embellishments.
