Explore the possibilities with your Tattered Angels supplies…
I have some new Tattered Angels cards to share with you today!
On this first card, I sprayed the chipboard with Silver Sugar and Graphite Glimmer Mists and then added some Diamond Dust over the top for some extra sparkle. The bird chipboard from the Nature Glimmer Chips set was left plain (also by Tattered Angels!). I liked how the white bird looked with the other colors! Papers are Little Yellow Bicycle (background) and My Mind’s Eye- Lush (green/houndstooth).
Here I used a Maya Road envelope and dressed it up as a card. I used the Nature Glimmer Chips and sprayed it with Lemon Zest and Sunflower, then sanded when it was still wet to get this cool peeling effect. (Actually, it happened by accident, but I like how it looks!) The stamp below it is from the Nature Field Notes Stamp Set by Tattered Angels (saying and frame). Papers are October Afternoon (yellow) and My Mind’s Eye (green).
The ticket card is also a fun Maya Road envelope! I love finding unique things to turn into cards. The airplane transparency is from the Travel line by Tattered Angels and the stamped swirls are Nature Field Notes Stamp Set again. I used Watermark Ink to get a soft effect. Lastly, some blue paint splatters and a Melissa Frances rub on saying. Ticket is My Mind’s Eye. You could use any of the planes and trains for boy birthday cards also!
I thought the travel line would be cute on a graduation card as I did here. The big compass transparency is from the Travel set by Tattered Angels, star pin is Maya Road, rub on is Melissa Frances and the yarn flower was made by me.
I cut the card’s corners off to make it look like a ticket or a tag. The little star is an old one from my stash by Li’l Davis, I believe. I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink- Antique Linen to soften the edges of the card.
Thank you so much for visiting today!

Enjoy the Journey
Hi, it’s Danielle here with one more card for you combining Tattered Angels products with some Pink Paislee. I titled this card “Enjoy the Journey”. I thought it would be neat to use the travel chipboard on a graduation card, or I might give it to one of my daughter’s teachers who is retiring this year!
I sprayed the travel chipboard with Turquoise Blue Glimmer Mist and then sanded the raised portions with sandpaper. The ribbon is seam binding that I sprayed with Silver Sugar Glimmer Mist! I love this color, it’s really soft and shiny in real life. Love this soothing color combo!
The card base is white cardstock, and I just folded it like a matchbook and then punched the one edge for an added detail. Pink Paislee supplies used here are: (journaling card: Cupid, tape at top: Bayberry Artisan tape, swirl/sayings/stars: 365 Degrees stamps).
Thank you so much for looking, and I hope this inspires you to try a new color combo that you haven’t tried before!

Tattered Travel, Regal and Seaside collections…
I can’t believe it’s June already! I have a few projects to share with you using some new Tattered Angels products, along with some Pink Paislee paper and other fun goodies.
This card says, “Ticket to my” on the front…and on the inside says, “heart”. I used one of the new Tattered Angels frames that comes with chipboard letters inside. After popping out the letters, I sprayed it with Crushed Shells Glimmer Mist. I love these new Travel transparencies also by Tattered Angels! The 2, the little cork button and the red patterned paper are by Pink Paislee. To create the ruffle, I ran a bit of tape along the center and folded the ribbon a little bit at a time, attaching it to the tape. Then I placed the map paper over the top.
The next layout is an 8×8″ page. I wanted to make this size to give to my friend in a frame as a gift. I used the new Heidi Swapp Frame Glimmer Screen to trace onto the Pink Paislee houndstooth paper. (To create the background, I laid the template over the background and sprayed it with Sunshine Glimmer Mist.) I also used the Regal letters, the Regal stamps and the Regal chipboard frame by Tattered Angels. The frame is sprayed with Viva Pink Glimmer Mist. I sprayed the letters with Dazzling Diamonds and a little bit of Silver Sugar. (I made the flowers myself from ribbon!) The colors are so pretty together in real life.
And lastly, a fun summer page of my little beach babe. Here I’ve sprayed the background with Chocolate Cherries and Crushed Shells Glimmer Mist. Mixing a few of the same colors in different saturations give it a bit more dimension. I always start off with a light color and add more as I go to get it the color I want!
I used the new Tattered Angels Seaside chipboard, the transparencies and the new Tattered Traveler chip letters. I sprayed a coffee filter with Sunshine Glimmer Mist to create the little sun, an inexpensive and fun element you can experiment with! The waves are cut from Pink Paislee’s 365 Degrees papers and stitched and I added a brad from the 365 Degrees line as well. The Tattered Angels beach line and Pink Paislee’s 365 Degrees line go together like peanut butter and jelly!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Frame it!
Hi there, Danielle here! I have a couple of new projects for you with Tattered Angels products combined with My Little Shoebox papers.
On the first page, I used the Regal Fonts sprayed with Silver Sugar Glimmer Mist to house my journaling and a small photo. The swirl stamp is Screen Prints Regal Classic Accents Stamps by Tattered Angels also. All paper is My Little Shoebox, as well as the pink sticker letters and die cut borders. I love these colors and wanted the pink in the photos to stand out, so I chose the Silver Sugar as a subtle accent for the frames. Isn’t she cute? This is my friend’s daughter, and I watch her a couple of days a week. She is just learning to walk and it’s adorable to watch her!
Next up is a card. I used My Little Shoebox grid paper for the background and a doily from the baking section at the craft store. I sprayed the Regal Fonts chipboard with Sunshine Glimmer Mist and used a “bliss” stamp from the Large Heart Stamp Set, stamped right onto the doily. The ribbon was seam binding that I bought on-line in a big roll and I sprayed those with Sweet Clover and Juniper Glimmer Mists.
And one more card…I used Delphinium Glimmer Mist over a Glimmer Screen from the Garden Iron Works line sprayed onto white cardstock. The stamps are from the Travel Set, ink is Perfect Plum by Stampin’ Up! The chipboard is from the Regal Glimmer Chips set. I painted the chipboard white and added some brown chalk around the edges. I made my own ribbon flower by running a stitch along the edge of the ribbon, then pulling on it tight to scrunch it up into a circular shape, then added a button to the center.
I hope you enjoyed these springy projects!
Have a good night,
Danielle
On Cloud 9…
Hello! Danielle here with some Prima/Tattered Angels projects. I had so much fun mixing these 2 manufacturers. They are a match MADE in heaven!
First, I was sent a Donna Downey camera bag by Prima. I love that you get to customize it the way you want, and I had a blast with it! I covered the top flap with the Prima ribbon and hot glued it on. I also added 3 little Prima flowers and 2 Prima burlap leaves.
When you open up the flap, there is a little Tattered Angels frame sprayed with Key Lime Pie Glimmer Mist, and the pocket underneath is sprayed with Sunflower. What is fun about this frame is that I have hot glued it on only on the sides and bottom, so you can slide a photo in and out at the top of the frame and change out your photo whenever you’d like!
Originally, my daughter wanted it. She loved it. But, I LOVE it too. Think I’m going to keep it! Maybe we can share.
The next project I did was a scrapbook page of my girls and me from last weekend before we left for our Easter egg hunt. New photos always inspire me.
I sprayed the Prima background paper with Sunflower Glimmer Mist. There was a bit of red already in the paper, so I added a few splashes in the bottom right hand corner with Tuttie Fruiti to add a little more of that color. The chipboard frame is sprayed with Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist and I created my own flower from crepe paper, also sprayed with Sunflower. The chipboard alphas are misted with Graphite.
I misted the Prima burlap leaves with Key Lime Pie and hand stitched on them.
Lastly, is a quick card made with 2 Maya Road chipboard album pieces. I loved the gray background, so I chose Graphite Glimmer Mist slightly darker than the chipboard to spray over the Tattered Angels swirly Glimmer Screen. I like how the white frame pops, so I left it white and just added some glitter to it. The Prima flower is also misted with Sunflower. The wish ticket is by Crafty Secrets, and the pin and button are Jenni Bowlin.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope these projects inspire you to try something you haven’t tried before with Tattered Angels products!

Little ones…
Hello, Danielle here. This month the Tattered Angels team is working with Fancy Pants (papers, transparencies and rub ons) to go with our Tattered Angels supplies. I received the Little Sprout line by Michelle Coleman to work with and really enjoyed the colors in this line!
On this first page, I layered a transparency over the patterned paper and then the photo of my daughter on top. I like how the text gives some interest to the background and it was quick and easy! I sprayed the new Tattered Angels chipboard framed fonts (these are Tattered Traveler – Postage Stamp Embossed chip letters) with Sunshine Glimmer Mist. The little black and white circle at the top is Tattered Angels also. It’s new by Heidi Swapp and is called Rock’n Renaissance Mist-a-Bles Paper Elements. I chose to leave it white so it would stand out against the colors. “Little one” is a rub on by Fancy Pants.
Isn’t she sweet? Only a day old here! How I miss those days, they went by like a blur.
I cut the green swirl from the patterned paper and added it near the heart to go with my journaling, “My heart has grown by leaps and bounds in just one day.”
Next, another baby page. I LOVED the “new baby” rub on and thought it would look great on the graph background paper (which is lime green, but for some reason it looks yellow in my photo).
I used a chipboard page from my 6×6 Tab Album by Clear Scraps to anchor the photo and added a little bit of misting on it for interest! I misted over a Decorative Corners – Regal Collection Glimmer Screen with Coffee Shop Glimmer Mist.
I created some ribbon flowers for my page, a little bit of leftover fabric for the leaves and then I used 2 little photo corners together to create a butterfly. The photo corner butterfly was sprayed with Candlelight Glimmer Mist. I wanted the photo corners to be really light, so I gave them a light dusting of the mist. If you want deeper color, you can drench it more and reapply the mist as well a couple of times to make it darker.
Last is a card that I made with 3 of the journaling cards to form a tri-fold card. The Tattered Traveler frame is sprayed with Caribbean Blue Glimmer Mist, the letters were painted white, and I stamped the postcard and postage stamp from the Timeless Romance Clear Stamps by Tattered Angels.
A big thank you to Fancy Pants for giving us the chance to work with your fun papers!

Timeless Romance
This month Tattered Angels is having an exchange with Webster’s Pages. Here is what I came up with!
When I started this first page, I really wanted to use the new embossed chipboard heart by Tattered Angels. So that was the basis for my inspiration on this page. I turned it over and misted over the backside of it onto white cardstock with Candlestick Glimmer Mist to form the hearts on the left, and then misted the front of the chipboard heart with Candy Apple Red Glimmer Mist. The same color was used on the chipboard swirl (Candlestick). I used Olive Vine on the chipboard leaves. I love how these are embossed with a resist!
These are pictures of my daughter when she was 2. She loved her little coupe car! I used Sweet As Cherry Pie-Set the Table paper and Mom’s Ingredients paper by Webster’s Pages.
Next up is a card made with Sweet As Cherry Pie-Little Nibbles paper and Postcards From Paris – La Boutique De Jardin paper by Webster’s. Again I used one of the Tattered Angels new embossed chipboard and sprayed it with Candy Apple Red. I should have sprayed the leaves first with green, but forgot, so I tried to spray the Olive Green over the top of the leaves/red and it turned out to be a maroon-ish color.
The stamps are from the new Timeless Romance Set by Tattered Angels. I curved the “Be My Valentine” stamp on the clear block, so that I could stamp around the circle. It worked out well!
My last project is another card with the Timeless Romance stamps. Can you tell these are my favorite? I stamped the heart onto white cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder. Then I sprayed a new Glimmer Mist called Silver Sugar over the top and wiped the embossed part with a paper towel. Then cut it out and added it to my card. The “love”, the line at the bottom and the XOXO circle are also part of this stamp set.
The papers I used here are Nature’s Storybook: Soar Blue Skies and Postcards from Paris: Belle Rose. You should definitely get this Timeless Romance stamp set by Tattered Angels! It can be used so many different ways. I wished I had more time to play with it when working on my projects…I had many more ideas.
Thanks so much for reading today. Hope you enjoyed these projects!

My heart adores…
Hello! Danielle here! This month we were to work on a mini album that we received; mine is the Glimmer Glass Window Album – Nature. I had SO much fun making this! First, let me explain the process a little bit as to how I do a mini album.
I try to come up with a theme for my book before I start, and I found this rub-on that I had in my stash that said, “my heart adores you”. So from there, I wanted to make a mini album about my daughter Kati.
Next, I decided to make EACH page one thing that I love about her.
I also wanted to keep the colors similar throughout the album, so I chose to go with reds, blues and yellows, and then added in tan, gray and black as neutrals to soften it.
Here are more pics of the cover. The clear butterflies come with the mini album!

**If you’d like more info about the white script paper I made on the cover, I posted a tutorial while back on paper casting and how to; you can see it here.**
Now when I started, I decided to keep the left side of the pages as the “attribute” that I love about her along with the journaling, and the right side pages would be a misted butterfly and a photo. This will keep it cohesive throughout the album.
Kati is so gentle with such a sweet soul. I’ve never met anyone quite as soft and tender as she! She’s also very sensitive like I am. This is her with the little baby that I watch a couple of days a week, Ava.
Tip: stamp onto a transparency and cut out/adhere to allow your butterflies to hang off the page!

The butterfly below was misted with Graphite Glimmer Mist. I had a bit of red mixed in on accident, because I was sampling the colors on scratch paper and didn’t wash the stencil off, but I kinda like it. Another tip: Do the stenciling on separate piece of paper and then cut it out and add it into your mini book wherever you’d like. This way if you mess up, your mini album isn’t ruined.
She’s kind, caring and is always thinking about what everyone needs. It’s funny to see that even at age 4, she takes care of the people around her. Last night I said I was cold, and she ran upstairs to get my robe for me (even though she’s usually afraid of the dark) – she loves to please!

This butterfly is misted with Red Velvet Glimmer Mist.
If she sees me upset, she does this thing….I love. She cups her hands in the shape of a heart and tells me, “I love ya, bebe” just like that, all perky and cute to try and make me smile. It works every time.

The blue/yellow butterfly below is misted with Jazz Blue and Lemon Zest. I’m getting braver and starting to blend colors!
On the last page, I painted around a square of paper and added some journaling over the paint. The chipboard butterflies were misted over with Graphite Glimmer Mist and then I journaled inside of the negative space. Lastly, I stamped more Tattered Angels’ butterflies over the top.

The album/stamps/chipboard/stencils are all by Tattered Angels. If you have any questions on the other supplies, please let me know! I want to add more pages to my book, but I have a good start. I think on the back of the book, I’m going to stamp a list of all her attributes.
Thanks for reading!

Snow is glistening…
We finally had snow on Saturday, it was a welcome site as it came down so gently! The girls ran out there in all their gear to enjoy it that afternoon, they’ve been wondering when it would arrive. Me, I’m not quite as fond of the snow and cold…it’s beautiful, but only if I don’t have to go out in it. I’m much more of a warm weather person!
This month I was able to work with the Frosty Glimmer Kit. All of the chipboard pieces, snowflakes, brads, hinges, mists, sayings, blue paper, stencil and album came in the kit!
First, I misted the entire book with the Denim Blue Glimmer Mist. It’s so sparkly in person! The book comes in a creme color, so I changed all of the pages to blue. After adding the sheet music and saying on the cover, I laid the snowflake screen down onto my book cover. I mixed up some dimensional paint and used an old credit card to smooth it on over the stencil, then lifted the stencil off and let it dry. This gives you a negative print of the snowflake. I added a little bit of white paint over the top of the dimensional paint when it was dry (so it would show up better and have more contrast against the blue) and added some Diamond Dust glitter to make the snowflake shine. (Click on photos to see them up close.)

On the inside pages, I just chose some photos taken last Feb. of my girls playing in the snow. I misted the some of the sayings with the Creme De Chocolat Mist from the kit and punched the paper from the kit into circles.

On this page, I used the dimensional paint technique again, then added my photo over the top…
These 2 pages were misted with the Denim Blue over the snowflake stencil. I can’t get enough of this snowflake! LOVE it! I added white paint to the silver snowflake brad and tied twine around the little hinge that came in the kit. Also did some stitching on the tag and added blue mist to the edges of the tag.

This page has a piece of vintage sheet music (the title from the sheet music page). I found this image on-line, cut the title off and tied 2 pieces of twine on before adhering it to the page. The girls were beginning to make snow angels when I took this photo. I punched some of the sheet music into circles and sprayed it with the Creme de Chocolat Mist.

I have only begun this album, but am loving how it’s turning out. It has so many pages inside, that I could add a ton of pictures. Love that! I hope my girls will cherish this when they get older.
Thanks for stopping by,
Danielle
New products are so inspiring…
Hello! Danielle here today with my very first post on the Tattered Angels blog! It felt so wonderful to work with new products. I had many ideas brewing this week and didn’t quite know where to start!
The first page I created is “Fairy in Flight”. I have been thinking about scrapping these photos of my daughter for a few weeks, but was waiting for the right products to come along. I used Graphic 45’s Ode to Joy paper in the background and sprayed it with Suede Glimmer Mist in a few places. It’s very subtle but adds a bit of texture and shine!
I love to add dimension to my work and wanted the stamped words to be over the top of the butterfly, so I cut out the acrylic part of the stamped image that comes with the stamp set. You can also stamp onto a transparency and cut it out. I also love to use these to place around my pages when deciding where I’ll put the stamp before actually stamping on my page. They are quite handy! (you can make these for all your stamps!) The chipboard butterflies are sprayed with Olive Vine. Lastly, I cut apart the chipboard swirl to get a smaller piece and sprayed it with Suede for the butterfly’s “trail”. My daughter, Kati who is 4 loves to dress up and pretend! She asked me to take pictures one day of her and her wings.
Supplies:
Paper: Graphic 45 – Ode to Joy
Glimmer Mist: Suede and Olive Vine
Stamps – large butterfly, words and swirls: Nature in Flight Stamp Set
Chipboard Butterflies: Embossed Glimmer Chips – Nature
Chipboard Swirl: Embossed Glimmer Chips – Regal
Other: Prima flowers, American Crafts Thickers
_____________
On the next page, “Let It Snow”, I misted over the snowflake stencil with Olive Vine onto creme colored cardstock to go with the Graphic 45 angels die cut. The letters are misted with Suede Glimmer Mist, and I used a chipboard wreath under the frame in the title to add a bit of blue to the page, since my photo had a blue tint to it. I loved the big snowflake and didn’t want to cover it up, so I added a smaller photo of my girls making snow angels.

Paper: Graphic 45 – Let It Snow (stripe), Around the World (black), Christmas Past Tags (angels)
Stencil: Glimmer Screens – Fanciful
Glimmer Mist: Suede and Olive Vine
Alphas/frame: Framed Fonts Glimmer Chips, Regal
Wreath: Frosty Memories Glimmer Chips, Stamped
Swirls: Nature in Flight Stamp Set
Other: rub on sentiment and chipboard snowflake – Melissa Frances, misc. button and pin.

These are little holiday photo holders that I found at the craft store last year for under a dollar! I sprayed them with Graphite Glimmer Mist, crackled them with crackle paint and creme paint over the top. I used chipboard photo corners and pearls for the garland on one tree and a wreath on the other.
Paper: Graphic 45 – Christmas Past Tags, Jolly Old St. Nicholas
Glimmer Mist: Graphite
Chipboard wreath and photo corners: Glimmer Chips – Frosty Memories
Other: string pearls and tree photo holders- craft supply, white pearls – Melissa Frances,
lace – unknown, creme paint – Delta.
And last but not least, a card which could be used for a fall or holiday card. I sprayed the chipboard with Red Velvet Glimmer Mist and the Family piece with Suede. I punched 1″ circles to create large scallops.
Supplies:Paper: Graphic 45 – Jolly Old St. Nicholas (stripe), Exotic Destinations (compass and circle)
Chipboard: Glimmer Chips – Regal
Glimmer Mist: Red Velvet
Family Memories: Bingo Boards – Family

If you are still reading after all of that, thank you! Hope I inspired you in some way today.
