Love is in the air
Hi everyone! So yesterday I told people it was June. I’m a little behind. :) It took me all day to realize that it was actually July! Time flies…seriously! My June was full of weddings. I made this layout of my Sister-in-law and her groom:

I used a bunch of Tattered Angels yumminess on this layout, including Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Screens, Calling Cards, and Stamps. Here are some close up’s:

It’s hard to see in the photo but I sprayed Pearl Glimmer Mist on the white flowers to give them a bit of shine.

I place some stamps in the background to help with the clustering.
And then here is a project I made for my sister, who just got married in Jamaica…

I used Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Screens, Glimmer Glass, Glimmer Chips, and Calling Cards. :) Here’s a close up:

I thought I would show you the edge too, because I took one of my favorite colors of Glimmer Mist (Frozen Lake) and just sprayed the edges of the canvas with it.

And finally here is one more canvas project. I was working on a project the other day and my first attempt did not work out as I wanted it to. So I started a new project and set this one aside. Then I came back to my “messed up” canvas and used it anyways! Art is all about the imperfections anyways! :) Here it is:

I used Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Glaze, Glimmer Chips, Ir-resist-ible Chips, Glimmer Glass, and Framed Fonts. I used the cowboy Glimmer Glaze all around the edge and on the letters. I just brushed it on after I did everything else. I used the Mellow Yellow on the inside parts of the Glimmer Chip butterfly. Here are some close up’s:

Well I hope you have enjoyed my projects and I hope you have a fabulous day!!!!

Fun Stamps and Creative Uses for Packaging
Hi everyone! This month is already flying by! I can’t believe it is already my day to post! But it is and I have some fun Tattered Angels and Pink Paislee projects to share with you. :)

There are a couple things I want to point out on this layout. Notice the frame around the title? Well I cut that from one of the boxes that the Glimmer Screens come in. And that swirl is cut from the plastic part that came with that stamp. I also used Glimmer Mist, the butterfly Glimmer Screen, and some Glimmer Chips.

On this layout I used some stamps from the Time Traveler stamp set. I love using stamps on my layouts and Tattered Angels has fabulous stamps! I also used a Glimmer Screen, Glimmer Mist, a frame from a Framed Fonts collection and Glimmer Glass.
And then here is another project you can create from your packaging:

Did you notice what that is that I used for the base of my project? It is the inside packaging that comes with Glimmer Chips.
I have a bunch of them laying around and they were just begging to be used. On this project I also used Glimmer Mist, Calling Cards, Framed Fonts, and Glimmer Glass.
Thanks for checking out my projects! Have a fantastic day!!!

Have a bit of fun!!!
A lot of scrappers that I know worry too much about getting everything “perfect”. Seriously…there is no such thing as perfect! Just have fun! That is what I did this month with Tattered Angels and My Little Shoebox! Here are some layouts I made..

On this layout I used that adorable balloon stamp from the Time Traveler stamp set. I paired it with the same (larger) image in the glimmer glass. On the background I used a Glimmer Screen from the Fanciful Screens set and some Glimmer Mist. And check out that Ir-resist-ible Banner Chip…love it! :)
On this next layout, I used that same Glimmer Screen but in a completely different way…

I sprayed Glimmer Mist over the screen but then cut it out and embellished it. I used Helmar Acid Free Glue on the design and then added glitter. I journaled around it too to add to the design. I also used a bunch of fun Glimmer Chips on this layout.

On this layout I took a piece of paper and cut it into strips and then layered them on paper in varying dimension (using adhesive from Helmar). I lightly sprayed the background with Glimmer Mist and a Glimmer Screen from the Ironworks set. That fun Glimmer Chip at the bottom is from the Seaside Collection. And of course the fabulous frames are from the Postage Stamp Framed Fonts.
And then I have one final layout to share with you…it uses the fantastic eMOTions line of papers from our own Nathalie Kalbach! And it kinda goes with what I said at the beginning of this post…it is all about having fun! :)

Those butterflies are a stamp from the Graceful Journey stamp set. And I just loved playing with the fun Ir-rist-ible Alphas! The chipboard Framed Fonts are from the Regal Collection.
A special thanks to My Little Shoebox, Helmar Adhesives and Nathalie Kalbach for sharing your awesome products with us! :)
Have a fantastic day!

More Tattered Angels and Prima
Hi everyone! Hope you are having an awesome day so far. :) So as you know Tattered Angels had a swap this month with Prima so the design team got to work with a bunch of Prima stuff this month. I had so much fun! They even sent me a canvas apron to alter!!!! Here is what it looks like now…

Perhaps I should have ironed it, huh. :) I masked off sections and then sprayed repeatedly with Burnt Red glimmer mist and one of the Blossoms screens, so it looked like a printed fabric almost in the end. I also used some Lemon Grass glimmer mist and the butterfly screen on my apron. I then added my embellishments including Framed Fonts and flowers sprayed with glimmer mist. Here’s another look at the finished project:

And some close up’s:

Ok, and on to my first layout…

I can never get enough of those tree glimmer screens, and I used the Forrest Green glimmer mist. You will also see that I used a frame (from one of the framed fonts) and a glimmer glass piece, as well as some fun die cuts from Tattered Angels. The papers and the flowers from Prima go along with my theme of the layout perfectly…she’s so delicate! Here’s some close up’s:

And here is another layout for you…

That large shaped piece is actually from the packaging from the Prima apron.
I sprayed the Burnt Red glimmer mist (again) on it over one of the Garden Lattice screens. Here are some close up’s:

Don’t Tattered Angels and Prima Marketing go together perfectly? :) Hope you have enjoyed my projects and have a fantastic day!!!!

Tattered Angels and Webster Pages
Hello everyone! Can you believe it is already February? :) This month the design team will be showcasing many new Tattered Angels products. We will also be working with Webster Pages. The two go together beautifully!
Here are some projects I made:

I just love the new frame glimmer screens, which I used on the layout above and the another one I will share with you. You can view these and all the rest of the new products in the new catalog!

Love love love the new large Tattered Tags…how fun are they? You could easily use them as a mini album type project. Here I used three of them on my layout. And notice that border…it is the heart stamp stamped over and over again to create a scalloped border.

That background is one piece of a mini album from Clear Scraps. Did you notice the key? That’s just another fantastic product from Tattered Angels.
And I thought I would also share this layout with you, it is one I made for CHA:

Lots of new goodies from the Tattered Traveler line. :)
Well I hope you have a fantastic day! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy New Year!!!!
Happy New Year everyone! Welcome to 2010!
Today I wanted to share with you what I did with the Tattered Traveler Album. I absolutely LOVE this album, and I had so much fun with it.

With the flap open:

I am not quite finished with the album yet. The rest of it is a little more personal with where I am in my life right now. :)
As you may have noticed, I used several fun things from Tattered Angels. I used Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Screens, Glimmer Glass, Glimmer Chips and Framed Fonts. I also used Bingo Boards and Calling Cards. :) Lots of fun stuff!
Well I truly hope you are having a wonderful holiday. Tattered Angels has so many fabulous things in store for 2010! You won’t be disappointed!
Have a wonderful day!

Daily December Album

Well we have come to December…can you believe it? You have probably heard or seen several people do what they call Daily December albums, where you do a page for each day in December. Well for the past two years I have thought about doing one, and of course, not gotten to it. So this year I am ready. I have the whole base of my Daily December album done. I used the Frosty Glimmer Kit. Everything is from the kit (with the exception of a little paint and glitter on cover and the thread used on one of my pages). All of the DT will be working with a Glimmer kit this month, so make sure you stay tuned to the blog to see what others do with their kits. I did get a little sneaky and used a few things from the packaging, but it was all inside the kit box.
Now all I need to do is add my photos and journaling that I do each day.
Here’s how it looks now:

Grab your Frosty Glimmer Kit today! :)
Have a fantastic day!
Pamela
******Note from Tattered Angels-our Frosty Kit has been updated. It still includes a generous amount of supplies as pictured in Pamela’s project, but has new paper and Glimmer Mist colors. You will LOVE it!!!!******
Tattered Angels and Graphic 45 papers
Welcome to November everyone! Hope you had a fun and safe Halloween.
This month the DT got to work with papers from Graphic 45. As you will see, they go perfectly with Tattered Angels products. I will be posting three projects for you today, two scrapbook layouts and one canvas project. Here’s the first layout:

On this layout I used the leaf glimmer screen from Nature Graceful Journey glimmer screens and then also used the leaf stamp from the coordinating stamp set, to create a background which I then cut out and used as a border.

Here’s my second layout:

Notice how I cut the bingo card apart and made it look long…something fun to try. :) Also I sprayed glimmer mist on a transparency and allowed to dry. Then I placed the transparency spots behind the circles I cut out of the paper. You can leave it like that, so it is see-through, but I decided to add white cardstock behind the transparency so you can see it better.

And on to my canvas project. It’s a very simple project. I made it to give to a good friend. Here it is:

I masked off a border on the canvas and then sprayed a lot of glimmer mist to create my background.
Hope you got some ideas from the post today! Have a great day!
