I am totally in love with the Spellbinders tags die.  How fun to make a bunch of these cute little tags from all sorts of patterned paper! I was having a blast! To spotlight these tags, I decided to switch gears, and make a few Christmas cards, as Christmas card making is just around the corner…  Using the Wizard, I cut the text and polka dot tags and trimmed them with a button and vintage Santa sticker from my stash. The adorable postcard is from the Travel Bingo Boards and Calling Cards set, and was sprayed with Vanilla Breeze Glimmer Mist to add some instant age. The red frame is actually a Regal Framed Font Glimmer Chip, that was sprayed with Scarlet Glimmer Mist, then coated with a crackle medium.

Below is another vintage Christmas card. This one incorporates two of the scalloped ovals from Spellbinders nesting dies. I love how you can layer the shapes! The pair of mittens come from the Frosty Memories Embossed Glimmer Chips. I simply painted in some of the details with Glimmer Mist, then trimmed the cuffs with ribbon. Glitter makes the snowflakes on the mittens sparkle. Underneath the Merry Christmas greeting, I stamped that oval with the Classic Accents flourish stamp to add a bit more dimension…

And, one last card…again using the scallop die and an oval tag. The corner piece is from the Frosty Memories Embossed Chips as well, and sprayed with Pinecone Glimmer Mist. Love that new Fall color! These fun vintage postage stamps are from Graphic 45’s new Christmas paper line. One sheet of their paper has  A TON of them-just the perfect accent for the Spellbinder’s tags.

Using the dies from Spellbinders really made these little cards come together quickly. Check out what the Design Team over at Spellbinders is doing this month-you’ll love their projects. With CHA fast approaching, we know you all are checking blogs continually to catch some peeks of some eye candy! There is lots of inspiration to be found, especially if you scroll through some of these recent posts! So as you well know by now, Tattered Angels has teamed up with Graphic 45 this month and we designers on both teams have worked hard to create some projects using the products from both companies! They compliment one another so well… this was not a tough thing to do! In fact over the past several months I have used both companies in MANY of my classes all over!

Here is one of the pics of the Layout I did for this challenge:

This uses the Fashionista collection of Graphic 45 Papers and Tags and the Tattered Angels Embossed Glimmer Chips (Regal), Glimmer Alphas and the new BINGO cards. I have a lot of fun playing with these goodies and I hope you enjoyed them! To make the most of your time, Tattered Angels has designed several different Glimmer Kits that are of various themes complete with and album, Glimmer Mists and a screen and embellishments that all co0rdinate. This allows you the freedom to play with the contents in the Glimmer Kits without the stress associated with designing in wondering if the end project will “work”. Although there are BASIC instructions included in the kit, you are free to add your own personal take on the goodies in the box too, as I did below! Check it out…

The album above is made from the contents of the BOY Glimmer Kit. It has  3 masculine colours of  Glimmer Mist, “Nature” Glimmer Glass, cool papers and plenty of embellishents to accentuate this keepsake album!

The FROSTY kit is full of  FROSTY Glimmer Chips, beautiful Glimmer Mist a snowflake Screen and again… oodles of embellishments! Sooooo coooooool!

And then, when you are all finished with your Glimmer Kits, you can pull off another project without too much work at all! I used the box that the Glimmer Kit was packed in to create this adorable Keepsake box. I sprayed the box lightly areound all edges, covered the surfaces with Graphic 45 papers and embellished with Tattered Angels Glimmer Chips, Glimmer Glass and Glimmer Alphas! What a great keepsake all on it’s own, let alone whatever treasures you tuck away within!

WE NEED YOU!

Bet you didn’t know that ALL of our bottles of Glimmer Mist were hand labeled? Glimmer Mist is made right in our warehouse in Loveland, Co. And each bottle is mixed, bottled, and labeled by crafters just like you! To make things easier on our staff, we have decided to change our look one last time. Our bottles will now have a screen printed label to help out our bottle crew (and to prevent them from getting Carpal Tunnel!).  They bottle over 10,000 bottles a week, so … any little bit we can do to help… I am sure that they will appreciate it!
