A little Bit of this and a little Bit of that
And a little bit of Rock’n Roll
Yep – I’m in a good mood- I mean it is summer …so how could I not
Even with lot’s of work and projects Summer seems for me the time to refuel and get a lot of inspiration for the next few months. All the sunny days and even nights outside, the parties and time with family and friends, the things you see traveling, bicycling or just doing something outside…it is the way to refuel before the days get shorter and and the time in the studio finally gets longer
And don’t get me wrong…looking forward to those days too.
BUT….still managed to create some things with the always inspiring products by Tattered Angels
– it’s doesn’t matter what time of the year it is – a little bit of this and a little bit of that…and there you have it…Rockn’ Roll – LOL
Fairy Land Tag

I love the Tailored Tags – so many possiblities to use them for fun projects, like book marks, gift tags, pages for mini albums – or just for a fun tag as I did here, using different Glimmer Mist Colors.

Another Project I did was this Punky Sprouts Album using lot’s of Tattered Angel’s Products like Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Glam, Glimmer Chalkboard, Glimmer Glass , Clear Stamps, Glimmer Glaze,Glimmer Screens, Glimmer Chips etc. Combined with the wonderful Graphic 45 Papers it came out as a nice Beach Album …ehem …Down the Shore Album- for my NJ Sis in Law

For the clear pages I used some of the Beachthemed Tattered Chiptiles and Glimmer Glass and sprinkled some Glimmer Glam right onto the pages.

The Canvas pages were created this way: I sprayed the Canvas with a solid color that I wanted to look through the later used screens. Then I placed the Glimmer Screens onto the Canvas pages and then sprayed with different Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Chalkboard Colors – kind of working them together. Before lifting up the Screens I tapped the excess liquid off with a paper towel. Some of the images that I used the screens with are also later on stamped over to highlight the image even more.

oh yummie Glimmer Glam!!!

I really had an aweful lot of fun to create this album!
Wanna see more- LOL – I have more- here is an altered Shadow Frame I made for our upcoming anniversary and I used the beautiful beautiful new Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Fall Colors!!!! I love them soooo much!

And here is how the shadow frame looked after I had my Glimmer Hands on it

Here are the Supplies I used:
Tattered Angels: Glimmer Mist Fall 2010 Colors, Glimmer Glam Chandelier, Glimmer Screens, Tattered Trinket, Rockn’ Renaissance Costum Cut Outs, Tattered Traveler Clear Compact, Framed Fonts; SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES by 3L™ Foam Pads and Crafty Power Tape, Clear Gesso, Pepples, Prism white Cardstock
If you want to know how I did this- you can see the tutorial video on the Tattered Angels Educator blog.
But wait….there is more…LOL – one more…ok? What about a layout to close this post?
*The Many Faces of Israel*

It remains my favorite to create my own backgrounds with teh wonderful Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists and with those cool Tattered Textures Stamps – not to forget the fun Framed Fonts that makes awesome frames for the pocket pictures I used.
So I hope those projects and layouts showed you how versatile the Tattered Angels Products are!
Wishing you a gorgeous and happy crafty day!!!!

Mandy’s July Creations
Happy CHA everyone!
Mandy popping in from Australia to say Hello and share a couple of my newest creations.
Starting off with a card full of sunshine and smiles, misted with pretty Lemon Zest, Crushed Shells and SWAK and accented with a little Tuttu Pink Glam, a bright and cheerful combination.
Love layering mist colors across each other to see how they blend.
Lots of folks altered clocks a while back and that was fun but recently I saw a personalized clock in a fancy boutique with a very fancy price tag to match, thought hmmm, I have seen that lighthouse and very similar sandcastle and quickly ran home to whip one up.
Glimmer chips are perfect for altered clocks, they are slim enough to fit but with the addition of some bright colors can really make a statement. The only clock I could find had a black plastic frame that really did not look beachy enough. The frame got a rustic make over with a little plain acrylic paint and just before the paint set, misted spots with denim blue and dragged it though for a weathered look.
Altered books are a favorite of mine and a good excuse to play with new color combinations from the summer range starting with water slide and hula hoop on the background.
The tailored tag was misted with crushed shells and tutti fruitti with a touch of tutu pink glaze on the mistable die cut and finished with squirt of old lace.
Experimented with stamping using a dragon fly mist mat and hay ride glam to create a raised shadow that I stamped into. I added more textures using the hula hoop mist to color up texture paste streaked onto the bottom of the page with a little fan brush for grass.
Sharing new creations with you makes my day, feel free to ask questions or for more details.

Love is in the air
Hi everyone! So yesterday I told people it was June. I’m a little behind. :) It took me all day to realize that it was actually July! Time flies…seriously! My June was full of weddings. I made this layout of my Sister-in-law and her groom:

I used a bunch of Tattered Angels yumminess on this layout, including Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Screens, Calling Cards, and Stamps. Here are some close up’s:

It’s hard to see in the photo but I sprayed Pearl Glimmer Mist on the white flowers to give them a bit of shine.

I place some stamps in the background to help with the clustering.
And then here is a project I made for my sister, who just got married in Jamaica…

I used Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Screens, Glimmer Glass, Glimmer Chips, and Calling Cards. :) Here’s a close up:

I thought I would show you the edge too, because I took one of my favorite colors of Glimmer Mist (Frozen Lake) and just sprayed the edges of the canvas with it.

And finally here is one more canvas project. I was working on a project the other day and my first attempt did not work out as I wanted it to. So I started a new project and set this one aside. Then I came back to my “messed up” canvas and used it anyways! Art is all about the imperfections anyways! :) Here it is:

I used Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Glaze, Glimmer Chips, Ir-resist-ible Chips, Glimmer Glass, and Framed Fonts. I used the cowboy Glimmer Glaze all around the edge and on the letters. I just brushed it on after I did everything else. I used the Mellow Yellow on the inside parts of the Glimmer Chip butterfly. Here are some close up’s:

Well I hope you have enjoyed my projects and I hope you have a fabulous day!!!!

Mandy’s June Pink Paisley
When the Pink Paisley parcel arrived down under it really brightened my day with all those fun colour combinations.

My first project this month was to frame up a positive affirmation with a beach theme. Pink Paisley’s Picket Fence, Imagine and Flower Garden have such a lovely texture style print. Tattered Angels Seaside collection is a fabulous stamp set to complete the theme, combined with Heidi’s Irresistible Alphabets a fun and colourful page.

June is the month when many of us need to be organising little gifts and cards. I created this card from Pink Paisley’s Honey Comb and Think Big papers and a rumpled dictionary page. Topping them off with prima flowers and a Tattered Angels Butterfly Framed Font, popping out the center to frame up dictionary words.
Glimmer Mists: Key Lime Pie and Turquoise
A little carry bag style folder is a quick way of wrapping a photo cd or gift card with a fun combination with Tattered Travellers Glimmer Chips. Pink Paisley paper Trellis is a pretty shade of blue houndstooth that made me think of travelling through Europe.
Glimmer Glaze: Champagne, Cowboy and Orange Crush.
Thank you to everyone that commented on the altered book projects. This page has Pink Paisley’s Worker Bee as the background paper. First I misted the paper in shades of Sunshine and Crushed Shells before using Queen Bee rub on as an accent. Everyone has be saying how great these Artisan Frames are, being flexible you will be able to stick them every where and the amount of details in the frames makes it all the more fun to decorate.

A Tattered Paislee
This month Tattered Angels and Pink Paislee joined together. And I was so happy to get to create with their product!!!
I created this Lo using Pink Paislee PP and Their Artisan elements (which work AWESOME) with Glimmer Mist. I did a wax resist technique on all of the Glimmer Chips. I rubbed a wax candle over the pieces and then sprayed them with my glimmer mist. The umbrella is layered with a piece of Glimmer Glass on top.

Well after this LO I was in the mood for scrapping all about the water and river lol
Next LO I used patterned paper by our very own Nathalie Kalbach .Thank You again Nat
. I used Glimmer Chip Alphas. for the title The bingo card was sprayed with Candlelight and Pashmina. The same colors were used on the inside and outside of the pocket. I altered all of the flowers with Candlelight Glimmer Mist and Rockin On Sunshine Glimmer Glam I also altered the little frames with Cowboy Glimmer Glaze. And for a finishing touch I added some of the Glimmer Glass from the Seaside Collection.

On this last project I wanted to show you a way to use the Chipboard Tiles. The Glimmer Mist colors used on this project were Caribbean Blue, Coffee Shop, Starfish, Candlelight, Candy Apple, And Wheatfields.

On one tile I cut out an opening took a piece of the clear packaging from Glimmer Glass and made a window.

These are all pieces of the Seaside collection. Isn’t that crab so gorgeous. I love the soft details.

Look at that little fishy hanging out in there.

I heated the Glimmer Glass pieces with my heat gun to give them more dimension.
Thank You for stopping by Tattered Angel’s blog and don’t forget to swing by Pink Paislee as well.
Jamie
Let’s tatter up the Paislee
This month as you might have seen already – and if not…do yourself a favor and look at all the yumie posts by me sweet and talented design team friends – that we teamed up with Pink Paislee. So much fun to work with!
*Phototray*
I created this tray for my friends Bill and Karen. I used Tattered Traveler Bingo Cards, Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Glam, Glimmer Glaze and Glimmer Chalkboard, ChipTiles, Glimmer Chips Traveler, Glimmer Glass Clear Destination, Screen Prints Clear Stamps
*Show your Hands*
I had so much fun creating this layout. I used Glimmer Mist and a Glimmer Screen on the Papers and then used the RubOns on the Glimmer Glass and the Paper. For the Pink Paislee Paper I used Glimmer Chalkboard.
*Family*
I used the scalloped Pink Paislee as a mask and sprayed with different Glimmer Mist over the edges. I also used Glimmer MIst and Chalkboard for the Chip Tile and then used an ink pad to release the embossed areas of the ChipTile. I used some of the Rockin’ Royalty Foil Chips and a Bingo Board.
Wishing you an amazing June

An eyeglass case and a couple of cards…
I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend! I’m just dropping in to show you my latest Tattered Angels projects. The first project is a eyeglass case. The little wooden case is from the craft store. The flap part of the case absorbed glimmer mist very well, but the rest of the case was a different type of wood and wasn’t absorbing the mist as well and I wasn’t getting the dark brown color I wanted. This situation ended being a perfect example to showcase the difference between Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Glaze. I remembered I had a dark brown Glimmer Glaze (Cowboy), so I applied one coat of the Glaze with a paintbrush to the case. The thicker consistency of the Glaze compared to the Mist worked perfectly and I got the lovely dark brown shimmer I was looking for. Then I just added a few embellishments including the adorable chipboard owl from the Nature Glimmer Chip set.

The next project I want to show you is a Happy Birthday card. I used a stencil and Key Lime Pie Glimmer Mist to create the pattern on top of the notebook paper (from My Little Shoebox). The chipboard letter H and butterfly (Tattered Angels Butterfly Framed Fonts Set) were sprayed with Key Lime Pie and Suede Glimmer Mist and inked around the edges with a brown chalk ink. The original color of the pink letter stickers was not quite dark enough for the card, so I placed the stickers on a sheet of cardstock and then sprayed them with Viva Pink Glimmer Mist. The stickers have a coating on them that prevented the mist from adhering to the face of the stickers but the mist did absorb into the letters in from the back and sides. I think this gave them a nice inked edge look.

My last project for today is a Thinking of You card. I layered some patterned paper and scalloped diecut (both are from My Little Shoebox). The large tag (Tattered Tags – Frames and Flourishes) was sprayed with Sand Glimmer Mist. The bird diecut (VaVa Victorian Irresistible Chips) was sprayed with Suede and Water Slide Glimmer Mists. The chipboard frame behind is from the Regal Framed Fonts Collection, it was sprayed with Key Lime Pie and Sweet Clover Glimmer Mists.

That’s it for me today, hope you liked these projects. Next month the design team will be integrating some fabulous goodies from Pink Paislee into our Tattered Angels projects. So check back often, it’s going to be a month full of wonderful eye candy and inspiration!
Take care – Patty

Tattered Little Projects
Hello all This month here at Tattered Angels we were lucky enough to work with My Little ShoeBox. Their papers are so adorable. And work sooo well with tattered Angels bright fun Glimmer Mist Colors. I designed a LO this month using their Papers. I created the background using the Grand-Scale Garden Lattice Glimmer Screen. The colors I used were Flower Power, Sunshine, and Lime Twist. Created the frame in the corner using One of the new Postage Stamp Fonts. And sprayed that with Cosmos. The title is made from misc. Glimmer Chip Fonts and also sprayed with Cosmos.

I also made a couple multi-medium projects with Tattered Angels Products. The first one is a canvas piece, using gel medium, glimmer mist, and the same Glimmer Screen as I used on the previous LO. I used the glimmer screen as a stencil. Colors used on this were Flower Power, Sunshine, and Yellow Daisy. The Glimmer Glass is from the Seaside collection. The Glimmer Chips are also from the same collection.
For my last project I took it a little to the girlie side lol. I used Cowboy Glimmer Glaze and Coffee Shop on the roof. And Coffee Shop and Old Lace on the rest of the house. The Glimmer chips are from the Regal and Heidi Swapp Collections and sprayed with Starfish. I used the glimmer glass butterflies and heated them with my heat gun to alter them and add dimention. And the finishing touch a Tattered Angels trinket key.
Thank You for stopping by Tattered Angels blog. And have fun creating
Jamie
In the spring, at the end of the day…
, you should look like Glimmer
Seriously- LOL
This month we have not only a month long amazing National Scrapbook Celebration on our Designteam and Educator blogs but also had a relay with My Little Shoebox – so here is a little Layout I made with their and our products.
*The Cutest Little Monster*
I used some Glimmer Chalkboard and Glimmer Mist over the Fanciful Screen. I cut off the clock top from the Framed Fonts and sprayed them also with Chalkboard, then inked them and put the paper behind.I also used the Swirl from the Regal Glimmer Glass Collection – so love it!

I also worked with the Die Cuts that our amazing and super talented Vicki Chrisman created for Accu Cut. So in Love with those. I made a little shadowbox also using the Crafty Secrets Fairy Sheet.
I used the Fanciful Screens over the frames and sprayed with Glimmer Mist over. I also used some Golden Glimmer Glam for a finish.
I used one of the wonderful Heidi Swapp Rockin’ Renaissance Costum Cut Outs and sprayed with Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Chalkboard. On the Nature Glimmer Chips I used some Glimmer Glam and Glimmer Mist as well. I used the stamps from the amazing Timeless Romance Stamp Set for the banner and the borders of the frame.
You see I used the heart stamp of the Timeless Romance Stampset and put one of the Copper Antique Keys on top.
And here is a little Welcome- Layout for a newborn of some scrapbooking friends of mine.
*Welcome Paula*
Lot’s of Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Chalkboard and some Glimmer Glam for the background, the butterfly and the deer.

And as you see- LOL – my work this month is quite eclectic- but isn’t that the best about all the Tattered Angels Products?- they fit all styles and products
So get glimmery and have an amazing day! Waving from Israel today
