My choice for October’s Tattered Angel’s Paint System assignment : CRYSTALLINA BLUE Paint System. One ounce bottles of Cornflower Daze Chalkboard mist and Turquoise Blue Glimmer Mist, Chandelier Glimmer Glam and Sassy Silver Glimmer Glazed in this unique clam pack. I mixed and blended these colors for unexpected and unique backgrounds.
This wall hanging dressform concept had been on my mind for a long time and it was time to conceptualise and make it into tangible form. The wings were treated to coats of Glimmer Mist from the clam pack (Cornflower Daze Chalkboard and Turquoise Blue) and further enhanced with the help of Chandelier Glimmer Glam. How rich it looks in terms of colors and depth. The layering of glimmer mist and glimmer glam is so effective.
The next item is an inspirational piece for the table top. A round metal container on a canvas. The canvas piece was masked , decorated, embellished and lastly, the wings were added. The wings were sprayed with the same color as the first project. (Cornflower Daze and Turquoise Blue Glimmer Mist, Chandelier Glimmer Glam). Upon drying, I added a coat of fine glitter. Finally, I dripped Sassy Silver Glimmer Glaze to give a fine glimmery sparkle.
Lastly, a bookmark. A canvas sheet was die cut and sprayed with Glimmer Mist Chalkboard (Cornflower) and Glimmer mist (Turquoise Blue). The underlying tag was sprayed with Copper and Turquoise Glimmer Mist.
This shall be my final post as a design team member for Tattered Angels. I cannot express in words how incredibly privileged, honored to be part of the team this year. Thank you for the opportunity, Tattered Angels and thank you , blog readers for taking time to read and leave your love.
