Misty Color Combo’s :) :) :)

Hello Hello :)

I am so loving the wonderful colour inspiration with Tattered Angels products from the Design Team! I do hope you are :)

Today I would like to share with you a layout I created based on a Rectangle (tetradic) color scheme.
The rectangle or tetradic color scheme uses four colors arranged into two complementary pairs. This rich colour scheme offers plenty of possibilities for variation. Tetradic colour schemes work best if you let one color be dominant. You should also pay attention to the balance between warm and cool colors in your design. I chose this colour scheme to push myself as I am more than a little challenged when it comes to colour co-ordination. For my nest post Ill be choosing another, [LOL :)].

For my main colours I used Inchworm, Alaskan Salmon and Concord Chalkboard Glimmermist. I did contemplate using one of the fabulous blue mists to complete the rectangle of colours, but It worried me that it would look a little over done so I used the blue colour in my embellishments to complete the colour scheme.

It was interesting to note that when I was misting the Inchworm over the orange it did loose its glorious green colour and become very yellow in the photograph.

Well that is it for me for the moment. Do come back and see what amazing inspiration the rest of the team has for you.

Louise :)
