I’ve had a most wonderful time as a Tattered Angels Design Team member. The two years and some months have passed ever so quickly and this will be my last post on the Tattered Angels blog. I’ve made some wonderful friends and have been inspired by the many creative talents on the team.
In that spirit, I’d like to start off this post with an altered frame featuring a photo of Nathalie, Emeline and me taken in Singapore when Nat came for a visit.
I created the textured frame using Tattered Angels Waterfall Glimmer Glaze and Patina Glimmer Mist. The cuckoo clock chipboard was misted with Chalk Chalkboard Mist and painted over with Chandelier Glimmer Glam.
The altered frame was inspired by the colour scheme Emeline used in this project:
My next project uses Tattered Angels products on a variety of surfaces – paper, canvas, chipboard and a home-made flower created from glimmer misted crinoline.
I’ve always enjoyed seeing how Nat uses TA mediums on different surfaces and how she encourages us to do the same. Here’s an example of how she does just that.
My final Tattered Angels project is inspired by the very talented Anna Dabrowska who inspires so many of us. I love the way she creates textures using mediums, paints, fabric, metals and so much more. Here’s a sample of something Anna created:
And here’s a box I altered using lots of gesso, mediums, glimmer glaze, glimmer glam and glimmer mist on fabrics, lace, metal, chipboards and all sorts of scraps I had lying about at home.
Thanks for joining me today and do visit my blog to see more of my scrapping projects. I’d also like to give a big welcome to the new design team and look forward to being inspired by them in the year ahead.
Cheers and happy scrapping!
