Two of my favourite manufacturers are having a blog hop! Talk about a match made in heaven.
I recently laid my hands on Prima’s new CHA paper collections and canvas mistables and I was in love. My first project uses a 12×12 Prima canvas on which I painted on Glimmer Glam in Tide Pool and Organic Garden and misted with Glimmer Mists in Mallard, Trunk Bay, Patina and Sweet Clover.
I layered on some Prima Pixie Glen patterned papers and Dusty Attic borders, and of course some Prima flowers.
The lovely Prima blooms were complemented by the new Prima Resistant Canvas leaves. I love the blank canvases with resistant prints which work perfectly with glimmer mists. The leaves were spritzed with Lemon Zest, Sweet Clover and Olive Vine for a lovely variegated tone.
My next project is another 12×12 layout, this time using Prima’s new Printery collection.
Another Prima product that works perfectly with Tattered Angels’ Glimmer Mists is their new Masks. Here I placed the mask on a white cardstock and misted over with Glimmer Mists in Mallard, Patina, Jazz Blue and Glimmer Glam in Organic Garden.
This dainty canvas floral stem is one of my favourites amongst Prima’s Resistant Canvas packs. You can custom colour it using Glimmer Mists to match any layout. Here I used shades of blue and green to complement the masked background – Mallard, Patina, Jazz Blue, Olive Vine and Clover.
My third project is a 12×12 layout using Prima’s sweet Pixie Glen collection. I kept the colours on this layout soft and muted to complement the patterned paper.
I layered on lots of fabric in the form of rosette trims, muslin and of course fabric Prima flowers. I painted on some Glimmer Mist on to the white rosette trim in Vintage Pink to give it a soft pink hue.
Thanks for dropping by and I hope you’re inspired to try misting and glamming up your Prima canvases.
