I’m always so thrilled to be able to work with the amazing products that Tattered Angels creates. I get so excited to get them out, mix and match the shades, products and textures. They are always inspiring for sure!!
The Waves Card was inspired by my recent trip to the Outer Banks, NC last month. We were fortunate enough to stay in a beach house and enjoy body surfing, crabbing, and sea shell hunting. I had to include a few of the shells covered in Chandelier Glimmer Glam!!
I love how Glimmer Glam resembles shimmering sand!
Pink Paislee resist paper is perfect companion to Glimmer Mist. I used 2 shades of blue – Bell Bottom Jeans and Trunk Bay. This is a tri-fold card. The first fold is 1/3 and the second fold is 2/3 of the card.
I painted on Rockin on Sunshine Glimmer Glam onto the “Today’s Weather” mini card, and used a stiff paintbrush to push away some of the Glimmer Glam. This creates the look of rays of sunshine.
I misted the Prima flower in Pop Rocks Glimmer Mist for a pop of color.
The third card I created was inspired my daughters’ fairy garden book. Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Glam can transform any neutral shade of cardstock into a melding mixed media creation full of glimmer and color.
I stamped and heat embossed the heart onto the envelope and painted Organic Garden Glimmer Glam over the top of it. The heat embossed area works like a resist. I created a doily inspired paper cylinder to hold a secret message inside.Other supplies on these cards include: Spellbinders Wonderful Wings and Doily Motifs; Want2Scrap Say It With Bling; Sea Shells; Gina K Designs Stamps; Sparkle and Sprinkle embossing powder; Prima flowers and Prima acetate doily used from their packaging; Memory Makers resin flowers; WorldWin cardstock; Tattered Angels Waves Card, Day at the Beach card and Monogram.
